The location of the Boli Yabu Hotel is very convenient. There are a lot of shops around. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from the receptionist Xiao Yang. She helped us with the check-in and showed us the room. We also got a free upgrade to room with a nice view. The room was very clean and comfortable. We got a free welcome snack and some fruits. We would definitely recommend the hotel and book it again when returning to Xining.

Excellent location close to shopping and subway, heart of town. The lovely staff especially the housekeeping team at Floor 9B and the courteous and helpful staff at the restaurant. We loved the complimentary tea breaks and 银耳汤 and did lots of laundry as they thoughtfully provided 3 machines and a dryer in their laundry room. We had just spent 8 dusty days travelling Qinghai and Gansu so this amenity is such a blessing before we continue our journey to Shanghai. What I didnt like was that the hotel was located in a building shared with a few other hotels and lots of offices so the lift has lots of other people sharing and somehow isnt private and is slow. Also to hail a cab, you need to go out to the main road because the building has no driveway. But for the price we pay, the value way exceeds the cons.

Environment: The location is very good, right next to the Nanchuan River. It only takes 20 minutes by bus from the train station. There is bus 909 from the Sanjiang Garden East Station next to the hotel that goes directly to Kumbum Temple. There are also buses from the surrounding area to the museum and zoo. It takes a few minutes to walk to Xingxing from the first floor. Hailu, where you can find all kinds of food and drink options, is also within a ten-minute walk from Wangfujing Department Store. Facilities: A very new hotel. Everything from the lobby to the elevator room to the guest rooms is brand new. There are no stains on the carpets in the corridors and there is no smoke smell in the rooms. It is equipped with a gym and swimming pool, at least a 4-star standard. The soundproofing of the hotel is good, and I can barely understand the sound of the door opening and exiting next to it. The bedding is very comfortable. Service: The staff is well-trained and check-in and check-out are very fast. The rationed mineral water and tea bags are not ambiguous at all. The local mineral water in Qinghai is very good. In the evening, two locally produced yogurts were given as a gift. This is already more than the two bottles of ice dew given by a 5-star hotel. The room is quite big, but the air conditioning in the room I stayed in this time did not work. It was a bit cold at night and the heating was not hot. Breakfast is quite rich.

This is really an International Hotel with 5 star standard. Service, amenities and room toiletries is of premium quality except the central aircon is not switched on so the room temperature is at 25°C cannot be adjusted much lower, only can switch to fan full blast but not cold. When I lodge a complaint, the staff says they don't switch the central aircon for month of May but advise to just open the window as it gets cold in the evening. The cold air do come in through the window to keep the room cool.They will switch on the central aircon in month of June and July when it's very hot. Overall I love this hotel as it's next to the railway station and many local street food around the hotel. Highly recommended!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of two male front desk staff members I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel. I approached the front desk to inquire about to extend my stay. The two staff members I interacted with were both rude and dismissive, speaking to me without making eye contact and answering in a very loud voice. Their behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I understand that front desk staff members are often busy, but there is no excuse for treating guests with disrespect. I would appreciate it if you would address this matter with the staff members in question and ensure that all your employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. I hope that my experience will be addressed and that future guests will not encounter the same issues.

Good locale. Service staff excellent! Breakfast spread worth the value. Hotel changes their menu and not repeat all the same items. However they should look into the coffee bean maker as it was really slow to churn out a good cup of coffee! Could be that the piping needs to be checked or even cleaned out!? Overall, it was a good experience. Hallway to the rooms lighting uses sensor, which perhaps need to be adjusted, as it requires heavy stomping of the feet to light up. Thanks!
