The hotel is located in a slanted location. We spent a lot of money on taxis for sightseeing. We booked a sea view room and the view was okay. It was 28 degrees during the two days we were there. The room was extremely hot and stuffy. It woke me up from the heat at night. I couldn't sleep well at all. I was curious about how big it was. The hotel's air conditioner was reluctant to turn on. The cleaning lady said that the air conditioner was not turned on and it was just natural wind. She also brought me an electric fan, but the hotel front desk lied to us and said that the air conditioner was on. Haha... 760 The air conditioner was not turned on all night. This is the worst thing. The experience should indicate that there is no air conditioning in the hotel, so I won’t be sure.

The hotel is quiet in the middle of noisy, near Jimei Xuecun. I set a LOFT near Xiamen University the day before, but the environment was too bad. There was a bathroom and a crazy trip all night. I found this one on Trip.com temporarily. The hotel room is not small, it is estimated that it will be nearly 30 square meters. It is an old-fashioned decoration style but very clean and tidy. There are bougainvillea outside the sun-facing window. The young lady at the front desk who checked in also arranged two rooms next to us (● v●) in the case of a lot of tourists during the Spring Festival. We took the elderly to travel, and brought a simple wheelchair with us. However, a screw fell off in the wheelchair two days ago. I was afraid that it would be unsafe for the next two days. I found the hotel front desk with the mentality of giving it a try. After the front desk understood, the engineering manager (like the surname Xu) was notified. The manager took us down to the tool room to install the screws and gave us another set as a spare. Very kind and patient! Recommend everyone to stay at Shanshui Hotel ～

The location of the homestay on the map APP is very accurate. In a villa community, you can drive in if you tell the security guard at the door that you live in the No. 63 homestay. I can stay in immediately. It's good. Then we passed. The location of the homestay is good, less than 10 minutes walk to the beach, you can stroll around the coastal promenade. Holiday Inn Express Xiamen Lingang is very close to the airport which is convenient. Otherwise the sourrrounding area is not too interesting. I was lucky to get a room with sea view which was beautiful waking up seeing fishermen returning from sea. Staff didn‘t speak English but was very helpful and trying their best to help. The breakfast was very delicious, better than in more expensive hotels I have been. The rooms are big and modern western style furniture. There was no mini bar but you can order somehow and then robots bring the purchase upstairs. Cleanliness was ok but unfortunately the shower drain was a bit clogged. Overall I enjoyed my short stay at Holiday Inn Express.
