Renaissance Xiamen Hotel

Renaissance Xiamen Hotel was nothing short of bliss! Staff were polite and helpful, room was gorgeously luxurious with an unforgettable sea view from the balcony! It is worth mentioning the hot tub with a big window facing the sea, it was my favorite part of the room. It is definitely one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in Xiamen. The hotel is clean and beautiful! There are two swimming pools - indoor and outdoor, gym, SPA and sauna. The territory of the hotel is pretty big, full of plants and flowers, plus there are many places where guests can have a rest by sitting in one of the gazebos with table and soft chairs. The buffet breakfast was okay, but in other hotels the variety of food was richer. I guess this is the only things I would improve in this hotel. The rest is all perfect!

It was a lovely stay as I planned a birthday trip to Xiamen for my wife. The concierge team Yolanda/Jack made our whole experience wonderful and unforgettable - a proper setup of the room/a bunch of beautiful rose/nice cake and everything the hotel did was way beyond my expectation and a truly remarkable birthday to remember. Will recommend it to any friends who are traveling to Xiamen - the hotel is A++

Xiamen University/South Putuo
To me the hotel seemed like a really pleasant and quiet place, I didn't hear any noise at night. The room was very clean, a good mattress and pillows. The beach is around a 10 minutes walk away. The pool is good but there are no sunchairs which was a disappointment because I planned to sunbathe near it. Breakfast was not bad with many options to choose from (mostly Chinese food but there was pastry, fruit and vegetables, baguette, bacon, German sausages and fried eggs).

In order to celebrate the Children's Day for the baby, I specifically checked the parent-child hotel on Ctrip. The newly opened hotel in 20 years, the location is a bit off, but the environment is very good, very quiet, the room belongs to the suite, and there are swing toys for the baby to play! The little brother who received us has a very good service attitude and is patient to introduce us to us. There is a playground in the hotel lobby where children can play, but the managerial lady on duty is very unfriendly and has always been cold, not letting parents accompany to play in it, very unhappy 😠The central air-conditioning in the room sounds too loud at night It’s big, even if it’s opened to the minimum, it’s still rumbling. Sleeping is very unreliable, and the down pillows and feathers in the room are too smelly, which really affects the quality of sleep. The overall hygiene is not bad. It’s the room we live in. There is a moldy smell in the refrigerator, and there are long hairs in the crevices. I originally opened it and wanted to put the fruit for my baby in it, but my mood instantly became bad. I hope the hotel can enhance the details and achieve the ultimate.

Gulangyu Scenic Area
It was the first time I fell deeply in love with a hotel. From the moment I walked in, the decoration style made me fall in love. The sentence ”It's predecessor is a church, and it has a certain history” reminds me of the experience of a certain writer I like staying in a church when he was in a foreign country. Facilities: Decorated in an ancient style, with a fresh air system inside, so there is no smell. Sound insulation is average and ear plugs are provided. acceptable. Hygiene: Very clean and cleaned in time. Environment: It's not bad even close to the pier, but there are a lot of slopes, which will kill me as I get older. Service: There are butlers to help deliver luggage to and from the pier. very convenient. Sweet soup is served in the evening, breakfast is rich, and afternoon tea is high-end and delicious. I will stay there an unlimited number of times in the future when I go to Gulangyu Island. I still miss the moment of leisure brought by blowing the curtains. I will think of the salty butter in the afternoon. I will also think of this hotel, which uses my favorite... of perfume...
