Worst five star hotel experience I have ever had. Dissatisfied in several aspects. 1. The waiters maintained a cold politeness. 2. It is quite cold in Xiamen in March and there is no hot air in the room. I asked the front desk why there is no hot air? I replied that foreign guests found it too hot and closed it! I'm really speechless! Does this hotel only serve foreign guests? 3. For breakfast, the replenishment of dishes was not timely. I went at 8:30 and many dishes were empty. I asked the waiter and he replied that they were finished! A noodle maker was very busy, cooking noodles and frying eggs, while several diners were waiting in line. 4. The razor provided in the hotel is very rubbish. There are many bleeding spots when shaving. Isn’t it embarrassing for a five-star hotel to have this kind of razor?

The hotel is old and five-star, but it's still clean. The cleaning lady is very considerate👍, and the breakfast is okay. The only drawback is that the indoor swimming pool is not very clean. After swimming, my skin became allergic and I had to go to the hospital to get some extra rice.

Xiamen Peony Hotel is the most satisfying hotel in my trip to Fujian. The parent-child connecting room booked for two nights is a connecting double room and a twin room, with two bathrooms and two bathtubs. Very suitable for a family like ours. The room is clean and warmly decorated, and welcome fruits are provided. The swimming pool in the hotel is also good. The security officer is very responsible and stands by the pool the whole time, which makes you feel safe. The room service was very considerate. When I returned to the hotel the next day, not only fruits and snacks were prepared, but also a handwritten letter and local tea. The five-star hotel experience is great. A perfect ending to my trip. I will lock this place next time I come back to Xiamen.

You don’t have to worry about formaldehyde problems when you choose a hotel like this, and you can stay with your children with peace of mind. The cleaning aunt also wrote a letter for my children, with hand-drawn cartoon pictures on it, and gave small gifts. So heartwarming!
