Hotel Nikko is right next to Xiamen International Exhibition centre. The room is clean and spacious. All staff were polite and very helpful. We had breakfast on 26th floor which is opened for guests stayed on executive floors, nice view but i was told the choice of food is not as much as the restaurant on 5th floor.

Great location! First time in Xiamen for busienss trip, just 7-8 mins walk to the exhibition hall.
5-stars service! I was received by Mrs. Mao and Ms. Eddy Yang who showed me their warm hospitality, made my stay at Nikko Xiamen unforgetable!
Breakfast was ok, mainly Chinese style....

Pros:
- We had some problems, however, the manager was very proactive in rectifying the issues and demonstrated great leadership skills in mentioning the need for staff training and overall was excellent
- Good value and nice sea view from lounge
- Andy was very helpful, proactive, spoke perfect English and provided exemplary customer service. It’s service like his that make a holiday away great.
- The mature woman on the front door was prompt, courteous and very professional
- Very clean room
- Great service from the executive lounge staff and nice selection of food
- Good gym
- Executive lounge dinner is very nice and the breakfast is delicious!
Let downs:
- Check-in was unnecessarily burdensome - so we checked out the next day and the manager organised a better room rate at the Marriott (DO NOT go to the Marriott, it is horrible - instead we went to Kempinski - we highly recommend Kempinski or Nikko!)
- There was no welcome fruit when we first arrived
- Lower level room views will have obscured views (we were on the 20th)
FYI:
- If you book an executive room make sure that they take you go to the VIP room to be checked in, not the front desk. There is a marked difference between the two services!! Plus you paid for it and they have good snacks and drinks!
- It helps if you speak some Chinese as most of the staff do not, or at least try to - you’ll notice the difference in service attitude

I went to Xiamen to attend an event and stayed at the Nikko Hotel in Xiamen. The hotel Yoko was very considerate and helped me upgrade to an executive sea view room for free. The room was very spacious and clean. If the weather was good, you could see the Big and Small Kinmen. I had breakfast in a separate executive restaurant in the morning. You could also see the sea when you dine by the window. I was in a good mood every morning. The dishes were rich. The receptionist helped me make coffee every day. When I came back in the evening, I could go to the gym to exercise and swim. Free laundry services were provided, etc. There was always someone in the lobby to help with luggage.
