The room stank, reeked of smoke, and even the bed and furniture smelled awful. Oddly enough, the toilet was the only place that didn't smell! 😂 It was expensive too, not even cheap. We only managed one night and then left. Oh, and I found holes in the bedsheets.

#Hygiene and Environment: Very clean and comfortable, so therapeutic! ✨ #Service: The front desk lady was super nice and incredibly patient; the room arrangements and everything else were impeccable! 😍 #Facilities: Both the room and the bed were spacious, and the bathroom was also large with a separate wet and dry area. There's also a full-length mirror by the door, and the lighting creates a fantastic ambiance, perfect for makeup and outfit checks! 👍 Oh, and you can even do laundry at the end of the hallway nearby, which is great! Definitely a bonus! ❤️ All in all, for this price point and location, choosing this hotel is a no-brainer!

An absolutely delightful experience. The hotel is conveniently located not far from Gulangyu Island, and getting a taxi was incredibly easy. We had a suite that was spotlessly clean. The location itself was quiet and peaceful, offering excellent value for money.

The soundproofing is poor. The rooms on the third floor in the middle row have no external windows, leading to bad air quality. Two of the three rooms we booked were at the noisy corner ends. The drain in one room was clogged and wasn't fixed. The room decor is very old-fashioned. Breakfast is inconvenient, and there's no elevator, making it hard to go upstairs. Parking costs 60 RMB per day at a residential complex across the street. The front desk staff were nice, and it's a short taxi ride to the pier, and about a 15-minute walk to Ba Shi Market. The price is relatively cheap.

We booked three rooms, but they were all spread out in different locations. None of the rooms on the middle row of the third floor had windows, so there was a musty smell inside. There was also no elevator. In one of the rooms, the shower drain was clogged, causing water to back up every time we showered. The sink was cracked and the vanity looked dirty. The room's decor was very old-fashioned, feeling like it hadn't been updated in years. The soundproofing was terrible; we could clearly hear even slightly loud conversations from next door. The only good thing was its proximity to the pier, just a few minutes by taxi, and the Eighth Market, about a 15-minute walk. Eating breakfast was inconvenient. Parking was available across the street in a residential area for 60 yuan per day, capped. The front desk staff were quite polite and helpful.

The front desk staff member was incredibly friendly and helpful. She even kindly assisted us with our luggage. I was truly touched when she provided a charging cable after my own broke! They also upgraded us to a better room category since we were a large group. The room was spotless and felt very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again next time!

This was a truly horrifying experience. One afternoon, the cleaning staff started vacuuming or cleaning the carpet right outside my room. The noise was incredibly loud, and given the already poor soundproofing of the room, it scared me half to death and triggered a migraine. The cleaner kept knocking, asking if it was convenient for them to come in and clean the carpet. I repeatedly said no, it wasn't convenient, but they kept insisting. They even tried to open my door with their key card! Luckily, I had the deadbolt locked from the inside. What if I had been changing clothes or something? I've never encountered a hotel where staff tries to open the door while a guest is still in the room. Even after I said it wasn't convenient, they came back a little later, knocking loudly and persistently. I called the front desk to complain, but then the cleaner came back AGAIN. Seriously, I was on the verge of a nervous breakdown and had a terrible migraine for half the day. And the soundproofing is just abysmal. In the middle of the night, I could hear cats fighting loudly from the complex downstairs – it was so bad I wanted to scream. At 6 AM, I could hear people talking and chatting in the adjacent room, and every person walking by in the hallway was crystal clear. It made me want to die. The most terrifying part is that you have to climb two flights of stairs to reach the hotel entrance, with no elevator. At first, I thought I'd gone to the wrong place. Hauling my suitcase up those stairs made me want to give up on life. The cleanliness was just okay; the toilet was a bit dirty, and the mouthwash cups and kettle felt grimy.

The room was very clean, the front desk staff were very friendly, and my overall experience was great.

Overall, it was quite good. The host lady was also very friendly. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of an elevator, so we had to climb stairs to the second floor. Apart from that, everything else was great. The 1.8-meter bed was spacious enough for three people. I went with friends. Highly recommended!

The facilities were quite comprehensive, even including a garment steamer for ironing clothes. (I chose to use my own disposable bed sheet for personal hygiene.)

I assume if guests request assistance in advance, the hotel would help with luggage. The front desk staff were consistently polite, enthusiastic, and provided excellent service during my stay. For future guests, it's worth noting that some rooms are situated directly in the hallway with windows facing the corridor, so be sure to check the room type carefully on your booking platform. Upon arrival, the front desk offered a room preview, which was a nice touch, and even upgraded my room. Regarding the hotel's condition: many hotels and guesthouses, based on reviews across various booking platforms, have been open for quite some time. Therefore, don't expect immaculate walls, wallpaper, or flooring. My room was decent and met expectations, perfectly acceptable if you don't nitpick. Concerning toiletries and towels: I've observed in some hotel photos that towels (bath and hand) are often openly displayed. I did notice a minor flaw on one towel *after* use in my room, but I didn't report it. Personally, I find it's always best to bring your own if you prefer and don't mind the extra hassle when traveling. My stay was short, and I was mostly out exploring. However, the service attitude was good, and overall, I found my stay quite satisfactory. These are my personal impressions, offered for reference only!
