Xiamen Cloudy Seaview Villa (Zhongshan Road Ferry Terminal Store)

I booked this hotel for a three-day, two-night trip. I was a bit worried about the location and view when I made the reservation, so I initially booked for one night. After checking in, I immediately extended my stay for another day! The view from the window, directly facing Gulangyu Island, was simply breathtaking – I was so happy with it! The room was a bit small, but the facilities were decent. My only complaint was that the inside of the toilet wasn't cleaned properly and had some discoloration.

You can see the full panoramic view of Gulangyu Island, and it's also close to Bashi Market and Zhongshan Road. The ladies providing service were all very enthusiastic. In the evening, I had a sweet tofu pudding with 'four fruits' soup, bought ginger duck from Xinhutang, fish balls from Huang Yulan, and ate satay noodles and oyster omelet from Wutang. I also bought crab roe soup dumplings and fried vinegar pork. After trying everything, I'd recommend the oyster omelet, ginger duck, and fish balls from the three places mentioned above.

I booked a twin sea-view room, and the hotel room was fantastic. You could see the sea right from the bed! The room was spotless and tidy. Plus, the front desk even offers luggage storage, which was super convenient. While waiting to head back home, the staff even gave me a complimentary bottle of water. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Xiamen!

All amenities were complete, and the location near the ferry terminal made getting around very convenient. The host was incredibly attentive and responsive to all requests, making it perfect for a couple's getaway. Our experience was fantastic, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Xiamen.

The room's smart facilities were comprehensive, and the soundproofing at night was excellent, ensuring a peaceful sleep. I highly recommend staying here!
