Xiamen Xihai Bay Hotel（Huandao Road）

I booked this place without hesitation after seeing all the positive reviews online, so here's my honest feedback. Pros: 1. Excellent location: Just a two-minute walk to the beach, right where the viral 'Anywhere Door' is. The beach is less crowded, so you don't have to deal with the crowds at Baicheng Beach. It's also very close to the popular Music Plaza, Wanyuepo, and Yefengzhai. 2. Beach toys provided: The front desk offers various buckets, shovels, and clips for free use, which is very thoughtful. 3. Free self-service laundry room available. Breakfast isn't a buffet, but there are two set meal options, and the taste is pretty good. 4. The room is spacious, with a living room and a balcony. Some issues: 1. The bathroom is tiny, with no separate wet and dry areas. After a shower, the entire bathroom floor is soaked. 2. Cleanliness could be better: There were bloodstains on the curtains and the table wasn't wiped clean. Of course, you can't expect the same standards from a guesthouse as a hotel, but overall, it's decent.

The hotel's location is a bit hidden, but the room is very cozy, and the bedding is spotless. The rooftop terrace is especially great for photos, offering a beautiful view of Kinmen! The owner is super nice. Highly recommended!

This hotel was fantastic! Super clean, and the toiletries provided were excellent, including conditioner. There's a laundry room downstairs and a drying area on the sixth floor, which is also a great spot for photos. The room itself was very spacious, giving off a cozy, 'that mountain, that person, that guesthouse' vibe. The best part is how close it is to the beach. You can even walk there in the hotel's disposable slippers without any issues – it's really that close! They even provide swim rings and sand toys for kids! Highly recommend!
