We booked a 3-night stay here, and one of the main reasons was the indoor pool. Unfortunately this was out of service for the duration of our stay, something which might be worth mentioning on their website/beforehand (I was only told when I asked the receptionist after checking-in). The room itself was fine and a decent size (we almost had a little bit of view from the lake) except for the fact that it was uncomfortably warm and stuffy, especially at night. Even more surprising as it was pretty cool temperature wise when we were there. We tried opening the window but there wasn’t enough breeze and the mosquitos. The AC did not work seem to work, reception was notified and we were told a repairman would look at it. There seemed to be slight improvement in the second night but by the final night it seemed to have become as hot and as stuffy as the first (not sure how they would manage in the hot summer if it is like this in winter). Hopefully this will be addressed or it was only an issue with our room. The location is very good, next to a park and by the lake, less than a ten-minute walk from Hubin Middle Road subway station (take exit 2) or a short taxi drive to most places in town. You can also borrow umbrellas from the hotel, handy as it was raining for the majority of our staying. The hotel will also ask for a 1000 rmb deposit on arrival which should be returned to you after you check-out.

Advantages: National standard four-star hotel, the location is very close to the cruise center pier, that is, it is very convenient to go to Gulangyu Island, there is an outdoor swimming pool, you can see the sea, the room is quite satisfactory, the hotel is large, the service is very warm, the facilities are also relatively complete, swimming pool, gym, chess and card room have Insufficient: the hotel has been renovated for some years, the facilities are a bit aging, the breakfast is relatively simple, of course the price is relatively cheap, you can see the sea view, but not the most beautiful part

We stayed during the dragon boat festival and the hotel has a great location, close to the main attractions. The staff were veery friendly and even though they didn't speak English they went above and beyond what we hoped for. Eason (嘉平) was wonderful and helped us book a tour to see the haka houses, he is a great asset to the hotel. Thank you to everyone and if we come back we will definitely book here again.

I was impressed with the front office staff Ms. JuanJuan Liao, she was cheerful, professional and helpful; I would rate her as one of the best hotel staff I have ever met. Given the GM Mr. Paul Zhang demonstrated as a great leader over my stay of 4 nights at the hotel, he was very hands on and professionally offered support to his staff and guests. They are great asset to the Company.
Lanhai Seaview Homestay (Amoy Wharf Sea World Branch)

The location of the homestay is quite good. It takes a turn to go to Gulangyu Wharf. It is 200 meters from Exit 6 of the Metro Cruise Center. Because there are guests to put pigeons, the boss upgraded the sea view room for free. It is really invincible sea view. You can watch the sea while taking a bath, drinking tea and watching the sea, lying on the bed and driving the sea boat to and from the boat in a daze. It is too comfortable. The sanitation is very clean, and I accidentally saw the boss using a sticky hair machine to stick to dust. The bath towels and towels are disposable, so there is no need to worry about safety. There are many simple meals downstairs. Next to it is the new landmark Sea World. The food inside is dazzling. There is also a cup of Taiwan black tea made by the boss Amway. I completely dumped a coffee table street. I will definitely come to live next time I have a chance. 😄

All the staff were super helpful and friendly. We felt really welcomed during our stay. Unfortunately, the mattress was extremely hard, not a very comfy stay if you cannot withstand the hard mattress.
