Building 3, Xi'an Renmin Dasha

Zhonggulou Square (Downtown)
Although we had originally booked at the Xi’an Renmin Dasha, Building 3 - the front desk kindly upgraded us to the Grand Mercure Renmin Square (Building 2). We were happy with our rooms and the facilities the hotel provided. My children were especially pleased that they could use the nearby Sofitel swimming pool. The breakfast staff in the restaurant were particularly polite and attentive, and we enjoyed the coffee, croissants, baguette, fruit, yoghurt and omelettes on offer. The restaurant had a good selection of continental and Chinese breakfast fare, plus British-style bacon and eggs! All the Accor hotels around Renmin Square are very centrally located and situated in beautiful historic buildings. It was easy to access the Xi’an Metro and travel around the city.

The hotel has convenient transportation, free parking, complete facilities and equipment, and robots deliver groceries. The room is clean and tidy. Manager He at the front desk has warm and thoughtful service. It is very cost-effective and worth staying!

Qujiang Exhibition Area
The worst sanitation in all the homestays I have ever stayed in. There are sponge cushions in the ocean ball pool on the floor. There are many bad balls in the ocean ball. There are horns. There are 2-3 latches in the ocean pool wall. There are no safety protection measures, and the projection is not high-definition. The refrigerator is full of moldy spots, the bathroom has a lot of rusty places, and the bath is difficult to go down, it will take a long time, otherwise the water will overflow to the outside of the room, the toys in the room are not complete, all the plush toys should not be cleaned, they are dirty, The room with the big bed is very dark. The room where you get on and off the bed will squeak when you go to bed. The bed linen supplies are very rough. It took 1420 to live for 5 days. There was no network the next day. Contact the landlord for repair on the third day. I have a network before I come. The maintenance staff said, The signal above the 25th floor will be bad, the network is easy to disconnect, and there is no network on the fourth day. But the landlord responded quickly and had a good attitude. The overall house experience was poor and would not recommend it. I hope that the place where the children live can pay attention to safety measures and check-in hygiene.
Le Méridien Xi'an Chanba

Lovely location overlooking the river. The entrance road is pretty, about 1km drive. Room was clean, nice layout, with a fantastic view of the river. Breakfast was standard. Used the sauna, steam room, both clean and comfortable environment. The pool was a little small but not a major issue. Staff were friendly and most spoke some level of English.

Lijaicun Saige Computer Mall
Line 4 Lijiacun Station exit is a walk forward, not very convenient. The service is very polite and welcoming. The buffet on the first floor of the breakfast is delicious, there are many types, as well as butter tea and Tibetan sweet tea, water basin lamb, meat sandwich, sour noodle soup, and specialties. We ordered four to six people in the restaurant on the second floor for dinner, only half of them were eaten, and the amount was very good and the taste was very good. The family parent-child room has a separate small bed for children, cute dolls, small tents, bathtubs and disposable bathtub covers, wash basins are also two, there are small stools and toilet seats for children to go to the toilet, very intimate. The big bed room is a two-meter bed, no problem for a family of three.

Zhonggulou Square (Downtown)
The very best experience from our long trip (18 days) across China. The facilities are very cosy and well maintained. The staff is very friendly and professional. The English speaking level is very high. Andy Song was really helpful for all kinds of requests. The breakfast is great. The place is quiet which is rare in such a big city. Amazing place, strongly recommended. Sofitel in Renmin Square will be our next destination in Xi’an.
