Home Inn Plus (Xi'an Wild Goose Pagoda)

Facilities: New and well-equipped. Hygiene: Spotlessly clean. Ambiance: Elegant and refined. Service: Good attitude.

The environment is clean and hygienic, and the location is excellent, just a five-minute walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. If you're driving, parking is available at the entrance of another hotel for 20 yuan per night, which is reasonable. The only downside is the lack of shower slippers; there were only two pairs of disposable slippers, so I had to stand on the floor when showering.

Highly recommend this hotel! The service was excellent, and the hotel environment was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and they even offered free laundry service. The soy milk was amazing, and they also had coffee and tofu pudding – highly recommended! The front desk staff even suggested I try a Hanfu (traditional Chinese attire) makeover, which was beautiful and I took many photos. The cherry blossoms at the entrance were stunning. The room was very spacious, clean, and hygienic.

Giving two stars is purely for the male staff. I used to frequently stay at chains like Home Inn, Atour, and Grand Mercure for business trips. I chose this one because of its good location, but I never expected Home Inn to be this bad. The power and water went out in the middle of the night. During the day, two female front desk staff were openly gossiping about guests, not caring who was around. They couldn't even figure out which day a guest was checking out and had the audacity to discuss it loudly in the lobby. Their service level is very low. All in all, it was quite a poor experience.

Home Inn truly feels like a home away from home. The service is incredibly warm and friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the overall environment is fantastic. Plus, the location is super convenient, just a short walk to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Datang Everbright City, and Shaanxi History Museum. If you're planning a trip to Xi'an soon, this is definitely my top recommendation for accommodation. They even gave me a little souvenir when I checked out!

I initially booked a highly-rated B&B, but when I went to see the room, I was absolutely appalled. It was so filthy I couldn't even bring myself to step inside. I immediately canceled my reservation, and they even asked me why! I genuinely advise everyone against casually booking B&Bs, especially those in city centers. Later, I switched to the Home Inn. To my surprise, it even had a small courtyard, a hidden gem right in the bustling city center. The lobby was very welcoming, offering coffee, lemonade, and black tea, and it was all very clean. We stayed in a twin room. The room was quite spacious, and it was very quiet at night. The staff were also very professional. To sum it up, it truly met the standards of a professional hotel. If you're coming to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Mall, I highly recommend this place.

The service was excellent. They have laundry facilities, and a wonderful staff member even helped me with my washing. I absolutely loved it and will definitely be back!
