Lavande Hotel (Xi'an Bell Tower)

This hotel near the Bell Tower has an unbeatable location! From Xi'an North Station, it's a direct 30-minute ride on Metro Line 2. Once you exit, just turn left and walk about 20 meters. (You can download the Xi'an Metro app in advance; both kids and adults can scan to ride directly.) The hotel lobby is clean and tidy. The room was spacious and very comfortable. We booked a king room with a terrace, which was bright and airy. The staff were also very warm and polite. The hotel is very close to the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter, all within a 5-8 minute walk. Downstairs, there are tons of food options, coffee shops, and even a supermarket, which is super convenient when traveling with kids. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel because there are so many delicious places right downstairs. There's also a direct shuttle bus to the Terracotta Army downstairs, and even travel photographers looking for clients. Since there were six of us, we booked a transfer package on Ctrip in advance, which saved us from waiting for a full bus. The South Gate of the city wall is about a 20-minute walk away. We found a popular BBQ joint at the foot of the city wall there – you might want to book ahead. Eating BBQ and having a drink right by the city wall, it was truly delightful! We also found a popular cafe called 'Laida' in the Muslim Quarter where you can take great photos with the Drum Tower in the background – the photo spot is really nice. The hotel opened last year, so there's no renovation smell, which is great. All the room facilities and amenities are brand new, and new things always make me happy! The front desk service was excellent; they delivered everything I needed promptly. The hotel's location is also fantastic, right next to the Bell Tower subway exit – you literally step out of the subway and you're there, making it super convenient for getting around. It's also just a 3-minute walk to the Bell Tower, very close. I was very satisfied with my stay this time; I definitely recommend this hotel!

The front desk staff was very welcoming and even provided free breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch. The room facilities are very new, and there's a free laundry room, which is super convenient.
