Family-friendly Hotels in Wuzhishan

A much needed weekend staycation in Hainan. Hotel is in a gorgeous location - set in the tropical rainforest. Very large grounds. Helpful and accommodating staff. Bath tubs and heated blankets for the cooler months. We had a fantastic guide who took us on a walk just outside of the hotel and into the rainforest. You can do a shorter loop or you can continue up and up and up lots of stairs- it is a good workout. The path is not 100percent complete / or not open right at the top so we went to a little door and back down again. I very much enjoyed this walk. Our helpful guide provided with walking sticks and helped with photo opportunities. After the the walk he showed us a a temple and gallery located in the hotel’s grounds. The gallery kindly provided us with our very own tea ceremony and the views from the small room of the mountain was lovely.

The room was spacious, the bed was big, there was a balcony, very clean and the environment was good. We missed the charger and called us to remind us, it was really good.

Cost: It costs money to wash clothes, not the public kind. Compared with several family room hotels I have stayed in before, I think the overall room price in this hotel is a bit expensive. Maybe it's because the hotel is relatively new, but I found that the occupancy rate didn't seem to be very high. Breakfast: There are both Chinese and Western breakfast options.

I asked the front desk, can I pack it back to the room, because the child has not woken up yet. But the breakfast time is one hour, the front desk said yes, but no packing box. I said that there is a bowl, and I can take it back to the restaurant after eating. I think the front desk and the aunt are very enthusiastic. But the person in charge saw that I took the breakfast back to the room and said the front desk. What I mean is that we added the workload of the aunt and did hygiene. In fact, I took the breakfast myself, you said to send it. I just want to eat in the room, it is troublesome. Because of this, after eating, I don't want to help you get back to the kitchen. Such a trouble-free homestay is still not recommended. It is not worth it here. As a Hainanese, I don't want tourists to come happily and return disappointed.
