We got a map on arrival with all the to do’s close by, and taxis were organised by the host. They do have bikes to rent for free as well, if you like to go on a bike ride. Great! The room was very pleasant. Unfortunately we found not only mosquitoes but also a big hairy spider in our room (look for it in the photos), so one night wasn’t that relaxing. I was afraid, the spider would drop on our bed during the night. Mosquito nets would be a big upgrade for the rooms. ;) But that put aside, we would always come back.

Family of 6 with 2 children and a young baby. The resort grows on you. I say resort as it's not a conventional hotel as such. Its designed and styled as a mosaic of accommodation types spread out amongst the large grounds, or Scenic Area, as its markted. This was confusing and after a long journey to reach the 'hotel', we had to first check in at a enormous building which is also the public entrance for day visitors to the resorts attractions. Our taxi from the station (which declined to use the meter, ¥20, dropped us on the main road and not at the entrance. Not great with our excessive luggage. We were then transported on extended golf buggy style vehicles to what was the opposite end of the resort. The accommodation was very comfortable and well designed. The only fault is the long walks to the facilities such as breakfast (in another hotels restaurant). That said, you can call for a buggy pick up. On check in we were informed the large water park was not open until later in the season. Too cold apparently, despite being in the high 20c's. A lit of the resort appears to be in state of construction with empty shells of buildings scattered about. By the end of the 4 nights, we warmed up, literally, to the style of resort, the colourful scenery and facilities, those which were open. It's a bit far put of the centre of Wuyuan, though there is nothing too exciting to see in the city centre.

The four seasons water park is highly enjoyable . It has a lot of rides for every age group.. my youngest is 3 years old & eldest is 9.. all enjoyed it very much...the best experience is the live performance called ”meeting wuyuan”... You must take the boating experience but at night.. so as to fully enjoy the night view in essence... In short... Spend the day in water park and get out as soon as the sun goes down...the resort offers you the best day & night amusement combination to plan your visit despite hot weather in wuyuan! Booked this place during the labor holiday. It's very convenient since it is inside the Wunuzhou Resort. There are a lot of places to eat and activities to do. The front desk personnel were helpful and the check in process was prompt. Our room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I didn't want about this hotel is that they don't have the elevator to go up the 3rd floor. So, if you have luggages request your room to be on the first floor. They don't have concierge service to help you bring your luggages upstairs.
