As a frequent business traveler, this was my first time choosing a guesthouse (Shanshuge Homestay), and to be honest, I was a bit apprehensive at first. After getting off the high-speed train, the private car arranged by the owner (100 RMB per car) was already waiting for me. The car was clean and odorless, and the driver was very nice. We chatted all the way, and the one-hour journey flew by. Upon arriving at the village entrance, the owner picked me up in his convertible (a BMW). Navigating through the narrow streets, backing up hills, and making sharp turns truly amazed me – a master driver indeed! [facepalm emoji] When I arrived at the hotel 🏨, wow, I was completely blown away! The hotel's decor is very grand, even better than I imagined. The room had all the amenities, was clean and tidy, and came with disposable toiletries. There was even a toilet seat cover, and the toilet itself had a heating function, very smart and convenient. At this point, the worry I had been carrying finally disappeared, haha. The hotel also offers dining. I ordered a stinky mandarin fish and some Malantou. Later, by an amusing mistake, the owner served me someone else's stir-fried lettuce [smirk emoji]. To be honest, I don't usually care for stir-fried lettuce, but when I took a bite with an open mind, wow! This lettuce was incredibly delicious. I even asked the owner's wife for the recipe [crying with laughter emoji]. There are also many friendly parrots in the guesthouse... They interact with you, making you forget your troubles. The next day, I went to Huangling. I left my luggage at the hotel, and the owner dropped me off at the scenic area's exit. After I finished sightseeing, the owner arranged another private car for me. This trip to Huangling was perfect. If you choose Shanshuge Homestay, the owner will arrange everything for your dining, accommodation, and transportation, leaving you with no worries. I'll definitely bring my family back next time and stay at Shanshuge Homestay again! [happy emoji]

The room was very clean and the facilities were new. The owner was very accommodating and the food was delicious, especially the stir-fried pork with chili – absolutely amazing! The birds were so cute, especially the green ones, they were very well-behaved and adorable. And the owner's driving skills are incredible, particularly when reverse parking – truly the 'Huangling Driving God'!

As a northerner visiting Huangling for the first time, the owner called me the night before, added me on WeChat, and gave me detailed directions and tips [smiley face]. When I arrived, the owner was already waiting with his two 'bodyguards' (little parrots). We hopped into the owner's BMW, and he zoomed through the streets and alleys – you'd think he was a race car driver in a past life [facepalm emoji]! You really have to experience it yourself to understand... 1. The hotel's common areas are fantastic: a tea bar, massage chairs, a coffee machine, a mahjong table, and a group of adorable little parrots... very upscale and chic. 2. The room was spotless, no strange odors, and fully smart-enabled, making everything hands-free [victory sign]. They also provided high-quality disposable amenities. The huge projector can cast your screen so you can watch whatever movie you like [smirking emoji]. 3. The hotel even has a mini elevator, which is a really thoughtful touch. 4. Dining can easily be done at the hotel. We ordered two local specialty dishes, and they were absolutely delicious. The local beer was also great – clean and affordable. After exploring the scenic area, we contacted the owner, and he had our luggage delivered to our car in no time. So incredibly considerate. Staying at Shanshuge Hotel was truly a wonderful experience. The owner took care of everything – food, accommodation, and transport – flawlessly. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely choose Shanshuge!

The owner picked us up, and he's a really skilled driver! The guesthouse is super close to Huangling Scenic Area, which is very convenient. The hostess cooks delicious food. The room was clean and tidy. Definitely worth a stay.

This hotel has many advantages, let me just name a few. 1. The room is clean. 2. The owner provides excellent service, including pick-up and drop-off. 3. The proprietress cooks delicious food (especially the stir-fried pork with chili and stir-fried eggs with tomatoes). 4. The hotel's location is great, just a few minutes' walk to the scenic area. Highly recommended!

A very clean and tidy guesthouse with adorable parrots 🦜. It offers great value for money. It was a last-minute decision to visit Huangling, and unfortunately, it rained, which was a bit disappointing. I hope to come back again next time.

The room was spotless, and the owners were incredibly welcoming. The husband is an amazing driver, really skilled behind the wheel, and his wife's cooking was absolutely delicious. Plus, there were lots of little birds keeping us company! Aside from the hot weather, it was a really enjoyable trip and experience!
