Wutai Lingshi Scenery Room With Heated Floor
Wong Jee HengMy wife and me stayed there for 5 nights in Oct/Nov 2025. The location is good and away from the hustle and bustle of tourist activities. It’s in a quiet location and you can do your hikes up to 凤林禅寺, one of the rare few operating monastery with quietness and serenity in the area. The staff there are friendly, welcoming and professional. Room was cleaned thoroughly and the snacks in the room replenished daily. Their vegetarian breakfast, lunch and dinner is simply awesome. I look forward to it everyday. The chef 赵师傅 is a master in creating delicious vegetarian meals. The other staff worth mentioning are 茵茵,阿文,宝珠and小王. The only thing they can improve on is to consider installing a self-service laundry room with a dryer. Will return if I’m visiting 五台山again.

Guest UserA really beautiful place to stay in the quiet mountains of Wutaishan. The hotel was tastefully appointed and the room I had was very spacious and comfortable. There was a Marshall speaker which was a really nice touch. The services were super attentive and personal: Manager Chen and his team were very friendly and highly accommodating. They made sure that I had everything I needed for my daily expeditions, drove me to all the temples and monasteries (within reasonable distances of course) that I wanted to visit every morning and picked me up in the evening back to the hotel. My stay there was so lovely that I extended it for two more days, which was still far from enough! The hotel restaurant was also very nice. Food was of superior quality and the ambience was lovely.

Guest UserWūtaishan is in itself a sacred place of pilgrimage of utter magic and life, staying in Tingfengyin Inn was an added charm of sheer care and concern. The Inn has a really sacred feeling, situated next to the Lush hills where the Bodhisattva of Wisdom impregnates his being to the core, in calm and quiet and in a traditional Chinese setting, the managers of this inn were always there to help and watch out for all sorts of needs for the pilgrim. Indeed, the spacious room, the beautiful view, to contemplate life while sipping some very good tea, to have been provided with the ample supply of drinking water, to have all the utilities one may need in the room or the washroom, to have amazingly ergonomic storage spaces, to have the possibility of having an early morning breakfast, the Inn has been excellent in providing a homely feeling to the guests, and for that I am deeply thankful.

There were no transportation issues whatsoever. The rooms were also huge, beautifully decorated, and very clean. I was so lucky to have booked one; I'm extremely satisfied!

I made a reservation for my mother and her sisters. Everyone was very satisfied with the hotel. It was clean and tidy, and the service was thoughtful. This was their second time to Mount Wutai. The proprietress arranged free explanations of the surrounding temples and shuttle buses to and from Mount Wutai. The location is very good, very suitable for friends who take the Shanxi Cultural Tour Bus, as it is next to the Friendship Hotel.

The room was quaint with the tea room section, the beds are comfortable, and location is very convenient. The proprietor is very nice and can help with any of the local Buddhist sites on Wutai Shan. She even helped give us a ride to some places.

Nice place I stayed for 4 nights to explore Wutaishan beginning of February. Location: 100m from Jinjie temple (have to walk uphill a bit, it is the same pathway that brings to Daluoding temple), 300m from Dailuoding bus station. No restaurant inside, the closest place to eat is Dico’s at 300m (I have never been there as I prefer a local food), restaurants for both breakfast, lunch and dinner are 1km away. The room is small but ok for one person. The window face an indoor place (the entrance of the hotel and the stairs). The girl at the reception is very friendly and helpful.
