This is a newly opened hotel, everything is new, the furnishings and appliances are all new, it is clean and hygienic, and disposable bath towels are provided; the vegetarian cold dishes for breakfast are delicious; although the hotel is in Pu'an Temple Village, the hotel has a special car to pick you up and drop you off at any time, including the 24-hour bus stop, so you can go to any tourist attraction at will, and there is no traffic jam at all. We checked in on April 30 and checked out on May 2, catching the birthday of Manjushri Bodhisattva, and we visited Shuxiang Temple, Wuye Temple, Xiantong Temple, Tayuan Temple, Dailuoding, Mingyuechi, and several other places we wanted to visit. It was a happy trip!

It was very late to the hotel. I contacted the hotel boss and sister very well. I came to pick us up directly. The hotel is very close to the north gate of the scenic spot and it is convenient to eat. It is next to the hotel. It seems to be a relative. The boss sister will help us book tickets and ticket information. The room is OK. When I left, the boss sister also sent a red rope, and I will stay for a few more days next time ～

Originally set up the next homestay, after this house, I went in and looked at it. I decisively changed the room to his house. I can see that the operation is very careful. The sister at the front desk is very enthusiastic. The hotel is clean and tidy. There is a small bay window for tea in the room. It feels good. The room is spacious. Check-in also sent a special wash bag for children, and the peace sign of Wuye Temple, haha, full of surprises!

The rooms at the B&B are very new, and the service is very friendly. The temple is about 2-3 bus stops from the central area, and the B&B has a dedicated shuttle service to the bus stop, which is always available. The restaurant on the first floor serves authentic Shanxi cuisine, and we had both meals there. There's also a sutra copying room and handmade beading on the third floor. Upon check-out, they gave us a bottle of Shanxi aged vinegar, which was inconvenient to carry, so they even mailed it back to us, free of charge. It was so thoughtful! I'll definitely stay at this B&B again if I have the chance.

AAnonymous UserYou cannot use simple ”satisfaction” or ”dissatisfaction” to evaluate such a thoughtful B&B. Nanman Nanman is a small but beautiful, quiet and gentle hotel.
We are always attentive and considerate of our guests. You will be pleasantly surprised that when you wake up early in the depths of this mountain, you will have a cup of coffee that is no less than a professional coffee shop in the city. The breakfast is simple and exquisite, and you can eat local specialties.
Every decoration and detail in the hotel, from the furnishings to the hand sanitizer in the guest rooms, all demonstrate the manager's excellent taste and pursuit of quality.
Stayed for 2 consecutive days and had three meals a day. The dishes at each meal amazed my friends in the same group. They were simple, local, exquisite and delicious!
The service staff are professional and attentive. They can talk about the culture and history here, but also keep a just right distance from you, making you comfortable and stress-free.
Looking forward to seeing you next time~

1118528****This trip to Shanxi was fortunate to stay at Wutaishan Jingshe Guanshan B&B. The B&B is located in the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. The decoration style of the B&B is simple, the rooms are cleaned very clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the millet porridge and Taiyu sauce taste good 👍. The owner of the hotel is very enthusiastic. After adding WeChat, he helped to make an appointment for the vehicle to enter the venue and help book tickets in advance. It also provided us with the best route, which perfectly avoided the restrictions, so that we could have a better experience in visiting Wutai Mountain. The proprietress also enthusiastically recommended the restaurants around the hotel, so that we can have a full meal after a tired day. I will recommend friends to come next time I have the opportunity.

11359950****The first time I went to Wutai Mountain, I chose a homestay and finally got a clean one. One is that I fancy the decoration style and the other is the price. I am very fortunate to have met a particularly good boss. I get up late in the morning or go back at night. I can’t wait for the car. I want the boss to pick up and drop off when I have time. On the last day, when we took a taxi to Taiyuan, the driver of the ride praised that this was the second good boss he had seen who could send guests to the entrance of the scenic spot. 👍 Breakfast was also praised. Although it was simple but delicious, it was at least several times stronger than the two or three hundred vegetarian food we ate in the scenic spot. Several times, I was very satisfied with staying for three days.

2205350****The environment and hygiene of the homestay are quite good in the scenic area. Disposable bath towels and towels are provided, which is quite thoughtful and understands the needs of customers. The homestay is not located next to the main road in the Wutai Mountain Scenic Area, but you can take the scenic area's free shuttle bus Line 10 to the ”Dachegou” station, get off and follow the navigation to get there. The first time I went there I was a little confused, so I took a taxi from the bus station, and when I came out the boss drove me to the main street himself. After walking around the scenic area, I found Line 10, which is a blue and white bus. It is more spacious and comfortable than ordinary buses and it is free, so it is quite convenient to get in and out. So overall the experience was good, quiet, sanitary, and the boss was nice. By the way, I also gave a Wuye Temple bracelet when I checked out:)

MM315819****I often come to Mount Wutai, and after seeing the recommendation from Ctrip, I booked a newly opened homestay: it is located in the most prosperous Yangbaiyu Service Area in the scenic area. The homestay is right there after you park your car nearby. The lighting on the first floor is a little blocked, but the second floor is bright and spacious, with antique decoration and exquisite details, much like the lay Buddhist building in a certain temple.
The room is decorated with solid wood, the linens are comfortable, it is a brand new room but has no smell, it has floor heating and is equipped with independent air conditioning, so you can control the temperature yourself. The boss, Xiao Dong, seems very down-to-earth. He recommends some routes, makes travel guides, and also provides tour guide services. However, since I come here so often, it is useless. The store offered tributes, and the boss personally took us to the Wuye Temple to burn incense. It was very good service, five stars for encouragement!

AAnonymous UserLocated near to Taiyuan town bus station. Can walk to the hotel from bus station, or if u tired of walking, can take the public bus from 普化寺 stop to 友谊路口 stop. (FOC, all public bus in Taiyuan Town does not need to pay bus fare). Only one bus stop to the hotel.
Very good location. Walking distance to the centre of Taiyuan Town temples. Cos, public buses sometimes are packed, Can choose walking if not tired. Traffic jam in the morning too.
Outside hotel is shopping street of the town. Hotel are near to 3 vegetarian restaurants. Can buy flowers baskets and fruits baskets from the shopping street flower n fruits stores if u wanna offering to Buddha. Flowers baskets are huge, price from RMB80. Fruits baskets RMB100. If buy from store outside temples, price might be more than shopping street price.
The hotel boss and staffs are very friendly and helpful. Always distributing bottles drinks to us when we leaving hotel.
Helped us book van to wutaishan mountain 5 terraces. And helped us book car for our one day trip out of the central, to the temples which are not so accessible by public buses (清凉寺，金阁寺, 竹林寺 and etc). Car booking half day trip is RMB300, full day RMB500. Recommended to book car, less walking up slope, driver can park car straight to temples car park.

GGuest UserOt's a small boutique hotel . The room was large and new looking. It had a small living room with comfortable chairs. The bathroom is average size with good hot shower.
The location is very good with easy access to restaurants and grocery shops. Be aware that everything concerned with food is just that little bit more expensive than other cities in China. But I guess the cost of hauling everything up to wu tai shan is costly.
The hotel is also close to the central bus station.
The manger Tong Tian Tian was most helpful. She came to pick us up from the bus station, helped us to book a day tour of the 5 mountain temples. ( which had to be cancelled halfway due to a snowstorm on the mountain tops, where the main temples were.
She then helped us to get our partial redunds.
And then helped us to book bus tickets for onward travel to Datong.
She was really helpful. On our first day she dropped us off at a temple nearly 20 mins away.
So top marks for her customer service
The hotel is a little short on the normal facilities like gym , small room fridge in the room, a restaurant ( so no breakfast )

AAnnie PBPMy room was spotless—so clean and fresh, and completely non-smoking, which was a huge plus. I loved relaxing in the bathtub while taking in the view.
Breakfast was a solid win with varieties of options, both international and Chinese. My favorite part was the freshly squeezed juice —such a nice touch! The Chinese restaurant downstairs was also great, especially the spicy chicken dish. If you like bold flavors, it's a must-try.
The hotel offers four mineral hot bath pools, which looked super clean. They do come at an extra charge, but they seem worth it if you're looking to unwind. Speaking of relaxation, the spa was amazing! The lady massager was incredibly kind, helping me with my lower back pain after a long week of traveling. She even shared a tip—walking backward to ease the pain!
The only downside was that during the spring season, there’s no air conditioning. If the room gets a bit warm, you’ll need to open the window for cooler air.
Overall, it was a great experience, and I’d definitely recommend this place!

SSolo Traveler BainIt was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. They provided anything I needed including heater, laundry service, help with the taxi booking and so many other things.
They even allowed me to stay the lobby to work on my project on my laptop when I had to check out and there were no places to work.
Location is nice, right next to restaurants and not far from main temples.
If you need help with climbing up all five peaks or just book a bus ticket, they will happily assist you.
Also, if you don’t speak Chinese, it’s fine as long as you use a translator. It might be a small challenge but overall communication was possible.
For a solo traveler, this was a great place to stay. Highly recommend!
