Once we went to the sweeping trail, that was the motto of our Wuppertal visit. To this we chose this hotel. Yes, a little older, came to the years, but we were friendly and had a beautiful room. The restaurant is unfortunately closed, but we had the opportunity to eat a little at the bar. Very nice and careful bar service, the room was OK and clean and despite the street, it was very quiet. Our questions about the sweeping track were answered immediately in detail. The breakfast next morning was good, there was a rich offer. Everyone was something in it. The staff was very friendly and quickly cleaned the tables and covered a new one after desinfection of the tables and chairs. After our sweeping and wuppertal bubble we returned to the hotel and had to find that our positive opinion had received a damper. Our room was not cleaned. The room service probably forgot us, actually a standard ... fresh towels and an excuse we got immediately at the reception. Unfortunately, the bar was closed this day and there was no snack or drink possible except the drinks from the machine. Everything grows in all, but if you have opened a restaurant or bar, we would also check in again.

The former Savoy Hotel is one of the latest members in the Best Western Plus series. It seems to have been widely restored because the rooms are in top condition. Freshly mounted laminate, very good beds and stable Wi-Fi - heart, what you want more. Bad is rather small, for it with rain shower. Attractive is the wellness area. To fitness you must leave the house and go a few steps to the nearby physiotherapy practice - but everything is within the framework.

Was before some days there. The hotel is very new, big rooms, with all the amenities that someone need during his stay. Hat the Lucky to take a room with river view.. Breakfast also nice. Thanks for the nice stay.

One particular night staff member should not be working in hospitality. A personality where growing fury is the response to a guests confidence or a request for a receipt that he couldn't fine. Extreme views that personally I would recommend having him put on the country watch list. A made a clear request for housekeeping and even communicated this with the general manager in person for NO HOUSEKEEPING. This was met with a room cleaned by housekeeping. And after the house keeping manager tried my door without an invitation and I told her the door sign clearly refers to no disturbance, and then while I am talking downstairs to the general manager she or someone is busy reaching under my pillow and provokingly has refolded my long johns and then put them on the TOP of my pillow to say. I have been here, I am not happy. General manager refuses to give me a refund after offering a breakfast for the housekeeping manager trying my door with a no housekeeping sign on. I was told there was a 'misunderstanding'. A decision that grants housekeeping to do what they want without repercussion. The attitude is 'we don't care'. If he really cared he would have immediately said 'Correct, unsatisfactory, you clearly said you did not want housekeeping and they have gone and done it anyway. Any reasonable person would deduce this is a two fingers to you. Or something like that.” Only twenty years ago we paid at the end of the stay. I certainly would not have paid for one night if I had the choice to pay at the end. Back then there were hardly any issues. Hotels were waiting for your payment. Female front staff member also did the, you want this, oh you mean that, you mean that with cream, oh you mean a new this, with that and this as well but not that and forget the other. So sad. And an unnerving creepy amount of ong term stayers. From my experience, hotels where there are no corridor cameras and many agency staff and long term stayers there is an increase in likelihood of hacking. I have found out it is easier than it seems to get hacked. Use your phone for calls and internet if you can outside the grounds of hotels and look out for strange setting changes and a black small dot on your icon bar. It means someone is currently accessing your location and the rest. Twice I went into the corridor from my room and twice a nearby door quickly closes. Coincidence or something more. The feeling of the place is ”something not good is about to happen soon”.

Very clean, very comfortable, very well-designed, and extremely good value. Has everything you need for a comfortable night's stay. Easy to check in, simple but tasty and cheap breakfast. Close to Landgericht Schwebebahn. Highly recommended.

friendly personal, rooms are okay for the price, beds are maybe a liiiiittle bit small, but still okay. would come again :) there's a supermarket right across the parking place and there's free parking, too

Simple hotel, hard beds (I found super) nice reception at reception. All clean, super shower. Good breakfast. So a recommender. € 5 to parking.... € 24 hours show ticket buy for bus and swebebahn, fun experience. 2 persons € 11,40
