Business Trip nach Wolfsburg zu VW - dann natürlich auch in der VW-Herberge abgestiegen. Die Anreise war witterungsbedingt für mich im Auto aber wohl auch für etliche gestrandete Bahnfahrer, die ich an der Rezeption traf, alles andere als schön. Umso schöner, dann in einem Hotel wie dem Global Inn zu landen. Nettes und keineswegs gestressten Personal, was zwar schon Überstunden machte um den Zulauf zu bewältigen, aber immer noch ein Lächeln schenken konnte. Und dann gab's kurz vor Mitternacht noch ein Bier an der Bar aufs Haus. Das nenne ich mal Gastlichkeit - ich habe mich extrem willkommen gefühlt. Die Zimmer sind für ein Business Hotel sehr funktional ausgestattet. Die Steckdosen sind etwas unglücklich unter Tisch und Nachttisch positioniert (mein einziger "negativer" Punkt und das sagt schon viel über das Hotel). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sensationell für ein Hotel dieser Klasse. Im Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist das Hotel also echt Klasse und sehr zu empfehlen.
