Stayed for four consecutive nights due to the convenient location of the hotel. Two-bed room, friendly staff, but not done when they were told to clean the room, a little disappointed! There is no refrigerator in the room, which is a bit inconvenient!

This isn't an old hotel but already it needs TLC. The bathroom skirting board is badly finished plus the tile grouting has holes. There are scuffs on the walls in the bedroom and I dropped my pen and on searching for it discovered rubbish under the bed. Breakfast was generally good but there was no real orange juice, it was orange squash and low quality too. The man who cooked the breakfast was great and cooked my poached eggs to perfection. Sadly the staff don't smile very much but they are helpful. On the first evening when we arrived (midweek) at 7.30 we were told the restaurant was closed and wouldn't be open, thank heavens we know Woking well. We stayed 2 nights and I was surprised that the tea and coffee in the room wasn't replenished.

Loved our second stay at Woking, it's well run clean the staff are super courteous and the breakfast is hot! What more could you want! (Thank you Ahmed and Ram and all of the catering and housekeeping crews too!)

Having used Premier Inn for years and always been happy, I am sorry to say this is no longer the case. Contacting them is impossible, they don't have a customer service email, the feed back form is not accepting my booking reference, which I have checked several times and their phone lines are not open outside of Monday to Friday during the day. I arrived to be told the room I had booked wasn't available, they had phoned, once, and not left a message, to let me know, luckily I had a step, so could use the lowered bath, but it was inconvenient. I was also charged £19 extra, when I had paid in full when booking, but they insisted I pay and then take it up with customer relations, who you then can't get hold of! The WiFi was useless and kept dropping off and the walls were marked and in a dreadful state. I am hoping this is not a sign that Premier Inn are losing their reputation for being customer focused and quality at a reasonable price

Didn’t get off to the best start, on arrival room rate had been changed by the hotel to £113 rather than the £52 I’d booked online on the Premier Inn business booker. Despite showing my email to the General Manager insisted I spoke to Guest Relations on the phone. After 25 mins on hold and 45 mins on the call, Guest Relations confirmed the hotel had modified the rate and they had sent an instruction to correct it and arrange the refund. Had to return to work. Upon returning in the evening spoke to member of staff on reception (who was watching a movie under the counter) who stated she was not authorised to process refunds and all refunds must be done by the GM. GM not back in until the morning - I start work at 0700. Duty Manager also not able to help apparently. No worries, go to my evening meal reservation at 2040 (had booked for 2030) to find restaurant completely closed - so no dinner. I stay in a lot of Premier Inns up and down the country. This is by far the worst service and most unhelpful hotel team I’ve encountered to date. I will be coming back to Woking for work but will definitely not be staying here ever again. What a shame. Tarnishes the brand.

I've been using this hotel for nearly 20 years and it has always been ok, except for my last trip. Firstly, the kitchen has been closed for months yet they continue to sell you included meals online, but when I then asked for a refund was told speak to customer services which took 4 weeks to refund me. They also double charged me for the room and told me that will take 5 working weeks to refund, their mistake but I have to wait! I'm still waiting... The hotel is also looking very tired now, but I'll never use it again.
