The room was really very small. The bathroom was the size of a toilet. Unthinkable for a castle. The comfort rooms do not deserve their name. Good buffet breakfast. Very good restaurant. The setting is superb.

Well I’m pretty picky but we had a really good dinner at this hotel. We picked the middle menu (40 euros) and after a very tasty amuse bouche of smoked salmon and chive cream, we tucked into an artisan foie gras served with an apricot tarte tatin and a delicious slice of gingery pain d’epices. I had a duck shepherd’s pie and my husband had a veal chop. We then grazed a vey extensive cheese board. All this was washed down with a really delicious bottle of St Nicholas de Bourgueil. The dining room is light and airy and the service friendly. The rooms are clean with showers and coffee machines. You can park outside your room. A really good stop for a first or last night in France

Cela fait plus de 12 ans que nous séjournons 1/2 fois par an dans cette établissement. Nous l’aimons toujours autant , la propreté, la gentillesse, la restauration, une excellente literie. Malgré, que nous nous rendons compte au fur et à mesure que de petites choses manquent par rapport aux premières années, le restaurant, j’apprécie moyennement le manque de nappes , surtout que les tables sont très abîmées. Genre le manque de beurre à table qui avant nous était servi en plusieurs variétés, doux , demi sel , cristaux de sel.Les prix qui ont fortement augmenté. Le manque de choix au petit déjeuner , plus de carte en chambre pour le room service . Jusqu’à l’année dernière , nous prenions notre petit déjeuner en chambre ,mais celui ci nous avait tellement déçu que ce jour nous avons préféré le prendre en salle , un vrai manque pour nous , dommage. Sinon les plats sont toujours délicieux, avec une belle présentation. Nous y reviendrons encore certainement 😉
