Winter Park Chateau

We stayed in the Moose suite over the Christmas break 2024. We were welcomed by the lovely owners who were taking care of us during our stay. The Chateau was cozy and inviting. Nicely renovated. Our room was spacious with a huge walk-in closet, and en-suite bath. The shared spaces were friendly and we enjoyed hanging out with other guests at the bar for apres! The location is so convenient and close to Winter Park resort. The Chateau is on the bus line, but one morning John was lovely enough to give us a ride to the resort- so sweet and not necessary but just shows how far the owners will go to make the guest feel at home. After our three night visit we were so sad to leave! A definite must visit when in Winter Park!

Great place to stay! Clean, comfortable quiet and great location. Easy walk to all the fun downtown bars and restaurants but also away from all the busyness of downtown. Jordan at the front desk was fantastic and made us feel very welcomed. Would definitely recommend!

Great spot in Winter Park. Room was comfortable and super clean. Entire property is well taken care of, you can tell the local owners take a lot of pride in this place. We only stayed one night so didn't get to fully enjoy all the amenities like the hot tub and private bar. Will absolutely recommend to friends and family when they come to town!

Great place - local hidden gem. We stayed in Elk room, kids loved their ‘cub cave’. Convenient location with 2 min walk to coffeehouse and rest of the town. Everything in the room is carefully put together with very good taste. Exceptionally clean. We’ll be coming back for a longer stay for sure soon.

We loved staying here. The hotel was lovely. The owner was so helpful and friendly. The location was convenient to the shuttle route. I highly recommend this property. We have already mentioned it to family and friends and would definitely stay here again on our next trip.

As a family of 4 with only 1 non-skier, finding a place to make ourselves at home for the week was top of the list. We were able to do that at Winter Park Chateau. We enjoyed our spacious 2 level room, Mountain Goat + Llama Loft. It was ideal for giving our teenagers their own space upstairs, just like at home :) . We were pleased with the attention to details and modern design shown throughout the property and our room. Very much Hygge! Close distance to the ski slopes made it convenient for me to drive my family in each day. After getting out and seeing the city, I enjoyed reading in the small and quaint round room overlooking the front of the property. We spent a few evenings in the hot tub, and had food and drinks in the lounge. Being able to wash and dry our clothes was a nice convenience too. Beds were comfortable, and our room was cozy. It was a pleasure to spend my time relaxing here each day, and with help from the owner, I always found what I needed. One thing that snow and ice affected was navigating beside other vehicles in the few spots up front, but we managed that. Overall, our stay was pleasant and memorable.
