2 Star Hotels in Winston Salem

It’s good so far but the people up stairs couldn’t sleep at all 11/11/2021 hope tonight better ughh

Chose the location due to proximity to family we were visiting. Location is great -- close to highways, mall, and lots of restaurants. Once inside, though, we were surprised at the age of the hotel and its need for updates and repairs. The elevator was small and finicky; it liked to alarm for no reason when getting in. The hallways were hot and needed vacuuming. Our room was very spacious, with the door to the hall and bathroom placed at an angle to increase accessibility. The carpet in the room was stained, there was a hole punched in the wall, mildew on the shower curtain, a pink mystery stain on the ceiling in the shower, dead insects in the ceiling light in the bathroom, no extra toilet paper (we quickly ran out), and no tissues in the built-in tissue holder on the sink. Relatives of ours in another room said their soap holder shelf in their shower was ripped out and there was a hole in its place--no covering/tape/anything. We were informed that there would be no maid service during our stay (if staying less than 7 days) due to lack of staff, so if we needed anything, you had to go to the front desk for it. Breakfast was available; the only hot items were waffles or instant grits (hot water was available). Overall, the property seemed in need of a deep clean at a minimum, or at best, an update. The price is reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more for a better-kept property with daily maid service available.

Although it is a 20-minute drive from the high-point exhibition, this hotel is very cost-effective, parking is convenient, there are many restaurants around, and it is quiet. I recommend this hotel for business trips. And the front desk has a contact form for takeaway, very intimate!

We've stayed at the this Hotel several times now, and the hotel and staff will never disappoint! The facilities are second to none, always spotless and of the highest quality. The Hotel staff are the most attentive, friendly, and helpful we have ever encountered.

The stay was perfect - no issues, awesome parking garage across the street that was easy to get in and out and a nice restaurant right next door. But what I wanted to mention was how friendly everyone was who worked at the hotel. From the ladies behind the front desk over multiple days, to the happy woman behind the bar to the super helpful housekeeper on the third floor, every, single person I interacted with was friendly and kind. That is NOT common. I travel a lot, and this hotel felt like the epitome of ”southern nice.” The housekeeper offered to clean my room as I was leaving, even though she didn't need to that day. It was nice to come back to a ”refreshed” room. What a jewel - and located in easy walking distance of shops and sights.

Because it was great to send my daughter to the summer school for the first time, I continued to stay here one night before my daughter went home, clean and tidy. The only downside was that the big bed room was in the laundry room, and the sound was a bit noisy. Is the *15 room, you can refer to the room.

The staff was great and very comforting made sure I was had everything I needed in a timely fashion be back very soon.

The staff members here were helpful and professional. We did find trash that wasn't ours under an end table. Other than that, the room seemed to be in good shape. The pool wasn't open, but it is located outside in front of the building. Waffles and other breakfast items were available, but all the tables had been removed from the breakfast area. Sad as there was a nice wooded overlook to enjoy.

This is a wonderful place to say besides some minor glitches. It’s now going on 24 hrs since we turned in our towels and have yet to receive fresh ones. When asked about receiving them the young lady responded with “we are out”. So we shall wait and see if we receive any today. Other then this one incident we have never had issues here before. My family and I strongly recommend staying here.!
