The location if the hotel us great. Sit between two villages and also very close to the station. Room is very clean and comfortable. If you have breakfast, you may not be allowed to take to ur room except you asked for packed BF. Host was helpful as you will be information on how to navigate the area. And what to do in the surrounding area. You can also have a early checkin if you send a request to them before hand

The hosts were lovely, so helpful and informative about the area and walks. There was an information book in the room covering all matter of things including useful numbers. The lodge was decorated beautifully for the Christmas season and the room was very comfortable with a fridge and kettle, tea, coffee, hit chocolate and water. Breakfast was amazing with a great range of fresh fruits, cereal and hot breakfast choices.

Clean

The room was very cozy and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. The walk from the train station to the accommodation was downhill, about ten minutes away. The bus wait was too long and inconvenient, so walking was the best option.

The Lake District is home to many beautiful B&Bs, and ours is one of them. The room even comes with cotton swabs and pads, as well as a glass jewelry box. Breakfast, ordered a day in advance, is prepared by the owner himself and is both exquisite and hearty. The only downside was that it was a bit hot during our two nights there, and there was no air conditioning. There might be a fan, but we couldn't find one...

The room was clean and spacious, and the location was okay, about a 15-minute walk from Windermere Pier. However, I recommend not including breakfast; it's better to eat out. While there were plenty of options for breakfast, each person was limited to one, and the value for money was extremely poor (expensive and mediocre!). You had to text or contact the host to let them know about the next day's breakfast, as they finish shopping by 6 p.m. I had a problem getting breakfast prepared because I couldn't tell them what I wanted. They served me a few slices of toast and bacon and eggs. Even the toast wasn't fresh, and one slice had mold on it. I've lived in the UK before, so how could fresh bread from the previous night be moldy? Or were they using cheap, discounted supermarket bread? Either of these assumptions is a waste of time and will only lead to a negative experience. I asked for a refund for breakfast before we even used it, but the host told me that breakfast pre-ordered through the platform was not refundable because they had already prepared it and the room and meal charges were combined, making it difficult to separate them.

It was very pleasant. Although small, it had everything. It was convenient to get in and out and close to the station. We had a rich breakfast every morning. After breakfast, they would ask us where we were going today. Do you know how to get there? Their service is super friendly.

The hotel is very beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, especially the mushrooms, the taste is good, the bathroom heater is very hot, it is very close to the town, and it is very convenient to walk to Orrest Head

The room was very nice, with swan bath towels. The environment was nice, between two towns, with the bus station just outside. The shop was run by a couple, the breakfast was delicious and the quantity was large, so make reservations in advance. A good stay experience.

I don't usually write reviews... I can only say that this price is a bargain in Bowness. It's a great hotel. You can see the details and care in every place. It exceeded my expectations.

Environment: A beautiful old English-style house, the interior is exquisite, compact, neat and clean, with many cute little ornaments. Facilities: Warm bedding, snow-white towels, free sparkling water, welcome milk. There is a hot water kettle and bedside USB socket. Meals: There are seven or eight set meals to choose from for breakfast. The full English style is very rich. You can even choose low-calorie coffee and low-calorie tea! Service: The landlord is very kind and gentleman, and can speak "omelet" and "poached egg" in Chinese.

The room is large and within walking distance of the pier. The owner also patiently and carefully explained the hotel's precautions and the details of reaching the attractions, and directly ordered breakfast for the next day. It was all freshly made, very fresh and delicious.

The carpet is too dirty, the room smells bad, the experience is too bad
