This place is fine, but being more of a resort than a hotel, it is huge and kind of generic. Nothing wrong with staying here if the price is right.

The heated pools are beautiful, clean and open late all year round. Also really enjoy the on-sight bike rental!

Although it was a brief stay, we enjoyed the property. The room was nicely appointed, with a very comfortable bed! We will definitely stay there again for a longer period!

The room was very clean (but the whole room smelled very strongly of chlorine when we arrived) and tastefully decorated. There were many available activities. However, the room didn't get clean during our stay (we only stayed 2 nights, so I don't know if the room would have been cleaned at one point), and you are asked to get rid of your trash yourself. Not a big deal, but not something I expect to do when paying for a hotel room. In addition, there's no breakfast option to speak of (even though it was an option on the website) unless you want to pay $4 for a cup of coffee and buy a wrapped muffin. That was disappointing. Our fridge was not working. They sent a very nice gentleman to look at it in the evening. When he could not fix it, he brought another fridge. Unfortunately, the fridge was too big to fit in the space, so it was put under the window, and it literally froze our food instead of keeping it cold. But at least, they tried to help. When I asked the lady at the reception about downtown Williamsburg, she said she had no idea.
