This is a wonderful property staffed by some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The GM of this Best Western was very kind to my grandson and I. Neal took extra time to go out of his way to let my 7-year old grandson and I know about a recreation area where we were able to play ball. This might seem like a small gesture of kindness, but it meant the world to this grandpa and his grandson. Thanks Neal! The rooms are great, the king bed we had was just right. We look forward to staying at the BW Historic District in Williamsburg again soon.

Staff was curtious. Check in/out was quick and uneventful. No pressure sales team. Activities pool was wonderful for our grandchildren on the days we didnt go to the park. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Grounds were spotless and covered in flowers. 15 minutes from Busch Gardens, 2 minutes to the grocery store, Starbucks, and drugstore - Great location!

Our Airbnb was cancelled at the last minute and I came across this IHG hotel. It cost LESS than the Airbnb we had reserved and the location was phenomenal ! God knows what's BEST for us! There's an Aldi grocery store directly behind hotel, several restaurants directly across the street, CVS and a 7 Eleven gas station next door. We were able to reserve two queen suits and a standard Queen suite. All the rooms were spacious and newly remodeled. The hotel looked as if it were just built instead of remodeled. However, the suit wasn't what I expected, it only had one tv and no separation from bed. It was just a couch and table next to the bed, but that explains why it's only $5 more for a suite over a standard room. The couch was handy, because we had family stop by and visit. I highly recommend this hotel . Friendly staff, delicious FREE breakfast, new rooms, comfortable beds, good value and location. I just may retire my Airbnb usage !!

We spent 2 nights in the Lewis colonial house, which turned out to be perfect for our family of 3 adults and 3 children: it gave us privacy and insulated neighbors from our noise at a very reasonable price. The small kitchen area has a microwave and small refrigerator but no dishes; the housekeeper kindly left us dish soap and a sponge but it would be useful to have the house stocked with those and a few dishes. The location of the house was excellent, very convenient to everything. There was plenty to do and we'd like to come back. I'd like to hear more about the experience of enslaved people and free people of color in the early republic: more tours, performances, and also demonstrations of how and where they and other serving people worked. Where did they sleep? What did they eat and wear? What were living conditions like? More interactive and hands on experiences for children would also be useful. And throughout the dialogue needs to be captioned if not translated to be more audible/accessible and for non-native English speakers.

Hotel location is good, the environment is beautiful. It is located in the historical and cultural reserve of Williamsburg, very close to William and Mary College and less than 10 minutes by car. The room is large and the view from the window is picturesque. Thumbs up!
