We had a very short stay but it wasn't comfortable at all. Upon walking in the hotel it smelled of smoke. Entering the elevator there was etch mark writing on the display cover and floors were very dirty. We got to our floor and it smelled like *********. Our room had a huge stain on the floor my the bathroom, end table had its finish bubbling up, the water smelled funny and the heater made a squeaking, clicking noise all night making it difficult to sleep. We usually stay at Airbnb but decided to try and find a good deal for a short time. I just wish hotels these days would really take their reviews seriously and let it show in a positive way. Will not stay here again

Our room came equipped with hair on the shower walls, and an undefinable substance on some of the towels. What it did not have was cups-- not a one anywhere in the room. Obviously, the housekeeping supervisor here is not on the ball. The *****ing in the parking lots is nightmarish. The stalls are so narrow that, if a car parks precisely in the middle, overhanging mirrors will force the vehicle that subsequently parks to left or right to hug the opposite line, and so forth in a daisy chain. We gave up trying to park in front of the hotel after the third try when it proved impossible to exit the vehicle. Fortunately, the rear parking lot was virtually empty. Breakfast was the usual mid-range fare. On the plus side, the hotel was very quiet, the beds up to HIE expectations, and the indoor pool and hot tub warm and hot respectively. Service at the front desk was indifferent in the extreme, but warm and friendly in the breakfast area.

On the whole, it was an ok stay. Within expectations given the affordable rate. Check-in/out process was a little slow, but attributable to it being the person’s first day on the job. However, our request for a quiet room away from the elevator (as we were traveling with our dog) which was made at the point of booking was not accommodated. The room itself was decent. Sufficiently clean but very dated. Bedroom and shower felt cleaner than the kitchen. There was a slight issue with the water, which stopped for a while and ran blackish when it came back. Internet speed was grievously intermittent and slow. It’s a dog-friendly hotel and there were adequate grassy relief patches surrounding the motel. It would have been nice if bags were made easily available to pick up the poop. Breakfast was basic - toast/bagels/muffins, biscuits and gravy (cold and gummy, unfortunately), and a waffle machine.

Red Roof Inn review below. worst hotel experience I have ever had! our first room had no air conditioning at all. we called the front desk because our tv wasn’t working either. he came up to fix the tv and said maybe he could find us a fan! (it was 94 degrees out). we left and came back and it was hotter in our room than outside. we were able to switch rooms so fine. the mattresses were aweful but at least it wasn’t 100 degrees. the next morning 3 different people came into our room without knocking wondering why we were there. I told them we had switched rooms and asked them to make sure it was noted we would be there the rest of the week. our keys stopped working so we had to go up and down and up to the 4th floor several times before they believed us and sent maintenance. he fixed the locks finally and next time we left and came back ALL of our stuff was thrown away in trash bags. my car keys were found in the bottom of a trash bag loose which took an hour to find. a manager came up and could clearly see I was upset and crying and left saying someone would come up that could translate to the housekeeper to locate missing items. no one ever came! we had gone to the nifty nuthouse that day to get a bunch of chocolates and candies and our food and chocolates were thrown away in a mixed bag of trash as the other rooms. we had delicate electronics just tossed in the bottom of trash bags. The entire hotel smelled like smoke and ****. And had to pay full price for the two horrific nights spent there! They didn’t compensate any of the lost items because I needed an itemized list and I had to spend hours at another hotel just going through trash bags trying to find everything. Not to mention I was told I was not allowed to go through the trash bag that was mixed with the other rooms.

Do the designers ever stay in their own hotel? This is a brand new hotel by one of the biggest hotel chains in the world with decades of history, research and development baffles me how things like this can keep going on. First of all, there are no USB charging jacks on the nightstands! This is a new hotel, and it is a sin not to have them. There is no shelf in the shower to set anything. You are forced to use the toilet lid. The refrigerator is an afterthought randomly sitting on the floor underneath the bathroom sink There is a hanging light/dust collector over the vanity. I’m sure housekeeping cleans this regularly. 🤣 There is a light in the shower, but nothing over the toilet. So if you the type of person who reads, you should bring a flashlight. The adjoining doors are next to the bed, instead of being next to the bathroom/hallway. It would’ve given a little bit more privacy to the bedroom area if they’ve been moved back a few feet. They could also move the thermostat to the hallway/ bathroom area instead of having next to the bed. There is a bright LED light on it, that shines in your face all night as you’re sleeping. They have blackout shades in the room that work perfectly, you could sleep all day and not know the sun is out. Unfortunately there are no privacy sheer curtains. You either have no knowledge of the outside world or are on full display of the construction workers next door and the people in the parking lot. Speaking of parking lot, the covered entrance to the hotel is in no way connected to the parking lot. You have to go to the main road, make a U turn to go to their parking. Then only to find out the side door requires a keycard to get in, that doesn’t work. When you’re in the parking lot, in the morning, usually right around check out time, the sprinklers turn on and saturate everything around you, your vehicle and the sidewalks. There is a sliding door between the bathroom and the sink which is hard to open. I would imagine young children and elderly people would not be able to do that. Don’t get me wrong, these are all first world problems. The hotel is nice and clean, brand new, and the staff are fantastic. It’s just very frustrating trying to live here and be comfortable.

Hotel location is OK, but it seems to be not very enthusiastic about the country. The room is not big, the water is full of water after bathing, but the price is not high.

Everything was excellent. Staff, cleanliness, the room. I was surprised that there was a kitchenette with dishes. There was not a view of the river, but the nearby arena shot off fireworks and I could see those from the room! There's a coffeeshop across the parking lot, though it wasn't needed since there's coffee available in the lobby. The breakfast included hot food items and several toppings like nuts and berries for either oatmeal or yogurt. Parking was very easy. It has a pool right off the elevator. The alarm clock was easier to set than most. The mattress was very soft. I like the rug under the sofa, which I believe is intended for dogs and would be easily washable. The TV had free Showtime. I would stay there again.
