Everybody needs good neighbours. And, with three restaurants, a cinema, adventure playground, Olympic swimming pool and sports facilities all within 10 minutes of the Premier Inn Hotel Bristol South, we've certainly got lucky. But venture beyond your doorstep and there's lots more to see and do. Take a dip beneath the stars in Bath or rock-out with the stars in Bristol. Drift away at the Harbour Festival or lift off at the Balloon Fiesta. And, when you're back on dry land, relax in our tasty restaurant, spacious rooms and extra-comfy beds.

The geographical position is unique! Just across from the exit of Bristol Railway Station, walk straight for a few hundred meters and then cross the road. Very convenient! Picture one (taken on the sixth floor of the hotel, the small bell tower in the distance is the train station). When catching a train, it takes less than 10 minutes to get to the train station. Hahaha, by the way, Bristol is very close to Bath, just one train stop. The hotel is very clean as a whole, and it is no different from ordinary chain hotels. Everything that is provided is provided. The bathroom is quite large, the room is not small, the air-conditioning is cool, and you can turn on the radiator if it gets cold at night! Let's talk about the situation of hotels under the epidemic. Hand sanitizers are placed at fixed locations and wherever they go to wash. Breakfast is also served in bags and disposable cutlery, which is hygienic and clean. There are three types of cereal, milk, orange juice, coffee, bacon bread (hot), muffin cake, croissant, and fruit for breakfast. I personally think that it is quite rich under such circumstances. Restaurant Hygiene The hotel staff are very diligent, and tourists are also very conscious, keeping at least two meters of social distance to eat. Very satisfied overall. Figure 2 and Figure 3 are all the scenery near the hotel, which can be reached after a walk~

First Parking. That costs £17 per 24 hours and with planned city congestion charge will add a substantial amount to the stay here. Obviously parking sold off to dubious operator. You can't access hotel from overflow carpark as door from hotel is fire escape and only opens from inside, quite a walk if you have to carry luggage to main reception. Intercom from fire door to reception not working. Pool was open but not after 1600, you can't access it direct but have to book in at reception. Strange groups working in lounge area, don't know if they were also guests or just keeping warm whilst working at free space. One was eating a take away there. Seating in lounge is cumbersome, uncomfortable and heavy. Rooms Ok, no telephone available to call reception or be called by reception. Mini bar is empty fridge. Safe in wardrobe is Us, no batteries in it. Breakfast was good with reasonable choices, gluten free bread available if asked for. Air conditioning in our room OK but noisy, colleagues room not working, temp around 35 degrees, they couldn't sleep, complained but no action taken. Windows cannot be opened. Hand wash basin in shower room slow to drain away as lever operated plug would not open enough. Staff plentiful and helpful at all times, under employed security guard by main entrance WHY, with manned reception within 4 yards of security? Didn't eat in hotel but reasonable walk, uphill on return, to other good city facilities. 1 choice of free newspaper, The i, available if you were quick enough, not my choice and no others available to read or order. Had one drink in bar £6.00 per pint. In summary Ok for two nights but needs more attention to detail if contemplating longer stay. Car parking charge is expensive and unavoidable, sold off no doubt to raise cash.

It was the first time I came to this hotel. I received a very good welcome from Berk at the reception. He was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and gave me a lot of space. The location is very near to Temple Meads Railway station. There is a big Sainsbury not so far ! I will with no doubt come to this hotel next time I come to Bristol
