The Wilson Arms

I'm going to give this hotel, Wilson Arms, my highest rating ever! The accommodation is very reasonably priced, including cooked breakfast - I had a full English. My room has two arm chairs, comfortable large bed and lovely bathroom. The view from the window couldn't be better. The food last was also delicious and great value. Good range of beers including two hand drawn. Only a few rooms and fully booked last night.

This is in a great location, with a great view from the garden across to the Abbey. Really happy with the room and the staff were lovely and very helpful. We also had our evening meal here, which was lovely and great value. I would definitely stay again.

What a great find, lovely friendly pub with rooms. Room was spotless as the whole premises. Couldn't fault the evening meal or the breakfast ( probably the best we have had for some time. We will definitely revisit.

Without a shadow of doubt worth staying at just for the full English breakfast. Excellent bar.

Parking is very good, room was very nice although the shower water pressure and control was not very good. Staff were attentive and always available.

Room was clean and inviting, bed super comfy and everything we could need for our short stay. Many breakfast options available - full English was top draw! Would definitely use again.

Great bar, plenty of room (dog friendly), great choice of gin, wine by the glass could be improved though. The choice is poor (jack rabbit) better to buy a bottle as nicer wines available. Staff are lovely, can’t do enough, food is delicious and the rooms are clean with nice toiletries and bed linen. Plenty of clean towels and comfy beds. Overall, I would definitely return as the pub is in a great location for Whitby, dog friendly and offers bed & a delicious breakfast at a good price. What’s not to love? Thanks for a fab new year’s break, we would highly recommend.

We have stayed at the Wilson Arms a number of times and everything is just perfect. Lovely and helpful staff. Always smiling and happy. The rooms are always comfortable, clean and have everything you need. The bar area is very nicely decorated and the range of drinks should suit everyones taste, it does ours. The menu is quite large and definitely value for money. Cooked and presented perfectly. Breakfast is always worth waiting for. You won't get better. Already planning our next booking.
