Short walk into the town centre; was not to bad, the small local shop 5 my minutes up the road was small, and had a limited stock so 4/10.

The hotel was in a good location, just a ten minute walk to the sea front. Easy to find, and good parking available. Good rooms and an excellent breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay here while we explored the Jurassic Coast the first week of January.
It was raining for most of our trip, however, the pool was open and we were able to swim with our kids at any time. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights as we enjoyed the first night and it was an easy option with our kids.
The hotel itself is a bit tired looking, but the pool, food and friendly service makes up for all of it.
We highly recommend it!

Receptionist was friendly and welcoming, the room was lovely, as was the en-suite bathroom. It was also quiet, warm and well furnished.

We have stayed here on several occasions and have been in every grade of room.
We are always left with the opinion that the rooms are quite tired and need bringing up to date.

The room was clean and the staff were lovely. It was just before Christmas and we appreciated the decorations, which were splendid. We did not appreciate the Christmas party revellers, who were very loud in the bar. They were given priority when it came to restaurant bookings, meaning we ate very late, when staff were free to cater for us. We would stay again, but not at Christmas.

I thought it was dishonest to advertise the hotel as having a gym but hide the fact that there will be an additional charge to use it in the small print. Otherwise pretty average.

Parking was plentiful so that was a bonus. You’re literally a two minute walk from the beach and maybe a ten min walk from the main part of Weymouth.
Gemma met me at reception and was lovely and friendly…always a good start.
The room was pretty basic….but warm and clean. The shower was good and hot with plenty of pressure…once I encouraged the shower head to stay in the one position.
The bed was ok and, like I say the room was very basic…but clean.
The for the price (I paid less that £130 for two nights) you cannot go wrong. Don’t come expecting luxury at this price.
