Belhuish Farmhouse

Nice location, no phone signal. Unfortunately our room had a leak in the bathroom, so it has a very wet floor most of the stay. The bed was comfortable and the host was friendly & helpful, but the room was not very clean, with dust & cobwebs all over. The shower hose was encrusted which wasn’t very appealing. We did not eat there, so cannot comment on the food, but the room TV was not working either, as the box was not tuned in, as per the photograph. An interesting note was that there was no way to lock our room door, which is different! Overall it was ok, but probably wouldn’t stay again.

We had a lovely stay with Rod and enjoyed our chats over breakfast. We were able to walk through the country pathways to access durdle door and provided some truly breathtaking views.

Rod was a great host and kids really enjoyed staying for a few nights. Great base for Jurassic coast walks.

Return visit Our second stay at the farm house was just as lovely as the first 2 years ago, and I’m sure we will be back again in the future!

Wonderful place A fantastic place to stay - lovely surroundings, very peaceful but in easy reach of beaches and attractions. Rod is a great host, too

Rod was an excellent host. The property is quiet and secluded in the middle of the Dorset countryside.

Breakfast very limited and not what I expected Says bed and breakfast but breakfast very limited £10 each per day for fried breakfast a bit on the expensive side, No WiFi and no phone signal.and not worth the £130 a day

Tankfest stay It’s out in the country, so stop for snacks first. Some nice walking paths and beautiful surroundings. Rod is a good host. 20+/- minutes to tank museum and south coast.

A great stay We had the family suite . The room was lovely and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent and Rod was a lovely bloke, very friendly and welcoming. His cooked breakfast was outstanding and set us up for the day at Tankfest. Would recommend this place.
