I love staying here when I'm in Des Moines but I usually have to wait until off peak times, like Tuesday through Thursday.

This hotel is dirty. The floors are very visibly dirty. The housekeeping knocked early in the morning when I advised we were still in the room, they said they would wait until we left. This is not up to any Marriott standard and I would never stay here again.

Very courteous staff, welcoming lobby area. Room was good other than the air/heat temperature was very difficult to regulate. Was disappointed by the pool area, which smelled like a locker room and did NOT match up to the photos online.

I thought the room was very nice! And the woman working the night I checked in was lovely!
BUT I still had a horrible experience! My boyfriend and I drove 5 hours for a concert in the area. In the morning we knew check out time was at 12:00 We planned on leaving early but we were very tired! and had another long drive ahead of us, so we decided to sleep in but at 10AM housekeeping WALKED IN OUR ROOM! We jumped right out of bed and we just assumed they wanted us out. So we started to pack our things and 25 minutes later they just walk in on us again! I heard a woman knocking at the door and I said “someone is in here! One minute please” BUT that didn’t stop her from barging in. Very frustrating and invasive. I plan on going to the area again next year but most likely won’t stay there again. Very uncomfortable getting walked in on twice.

We enjoyed our stay! The staff that checked us in was great and the place was clean and smelled great! Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfast also had a great assortment of hot and cold items, even at the end of serving time! Would definitely stay there again!

Was checked into a room with a missing remote and no working tv. The front desk person tried to fix, but was unable to fix. We were moved to another room and the water got no warmer than lukewarm.
