Vida Cayman Luxury Boutique Eco Hotel

If you want to feel truly taken care of by your hotel, choose Vida. The staff provided the most helpful and responsive 24 hour experience I've ever had at a hotel. The restaurant "Nourish" was another key aspect that made us fall in love with this hotel. We made our way back for lunch daily because the food was soooo delicious, and with the daily $25 credit that comes with your stay, it makes it even more welcoming to eat there. Vida is very quiet and restful. We also really loved that our room was very spacious and had a little kitchenette that we could make our morning smoothie in. They even provided a blender and coffee maker and tea kettle! (As smoothie and tea drinkers we really appreciated that!) They give you a working iphone for your stay that has direct messaging and calling contact with the staff from anywhere on the island, and they respond within 1-2 minutes every time you have a question or a need. For example they would send a taxi for you to bring you back to the hotel from anywhere on the island, with a click of the button. This made life sooo easy! Tips on destinations: We found Cemetery beach to be the best one. Very close, no commercial huge hotels, just quiet, relaxing, local feel, and the MOST gorgeous clear water we've ever swam in!!! Perfectly cool too, so it cooled you off just right. Vida provides you with beach chairs and umbrella's to take with you. Taxi's are kind of pricey, so don't be afraid of grabbing the bus sometimes, just a five minute walk from Vida, they come every ten minutes or so, and drop you off right at the beach for just $2.50per person, (they take American $ too.) The hot tub was wonderful. Relaxing on the deck at Vida was more peaceful than you will ever feel at a large hotel with hundreds of people. The only small disappointment was that the pool was too cold to go in while we were there (early January), but this did not detract much from the overall experience. We are very GLAD we chose VIDA!!! (PS: Shout out to Natalia the manager who was outstanding, and gave such personal attention to our experience all the way from planning to the end. She really CARES about the guest experience. Thank you so much!!)

I absolutely loved my stay at Vida and cannot recommend it highly enough—for couples, families, business travelers, and solo adventurers alike. The hospitality was truly exceptional and incredibly thoughtful. They provided refillable water bottles to keep guests hydrated and placed an iPhone in every room with the concierge number preloaded so you can easily get assistance without worrying about international charges- every detail felt intentional and guest-focused. The rooms were large, very clean, and had an indoor/outdoor area for relaxing. The concierge team was phenomenal from the moment I booked until the day I left, helping with transportation, reservations, recommendations, and more. Their responses were always timely, and they made me feel genuinely cared for throughout my stay. Vida also offers complimentary wellness classes, which were such a highlight of my trip. I took both a Zumba class and a yoga class—they were a fantastic way to get some movement in and meet other travelers in a relaxed, welcoming setting. I must also add that the food and coffee here are extremely fresh and nourishing, further adding great joy to my stay. The atmosphere at Vida is deeply relaxing, and being tucked away in a quiet part of the island made the experience feel truly magical. The beach is just a short walk away—and often feels completely private. I highly recommend renting a car while staying here (it’s much more affordable than relying on taxis) so you can explore the island freely. We went horseback riding on the beach nearby and followed several of the hotel’s recommendations—all of which were fantastic. Vida is a special place, and I look forward to returning soon!

I really don't know where to begin! I selected VIDA as the location of my inaugural destination wellness retreat, after looking at many locations, over many years. Lets just say our experience was nothing short of magical! Natalia, Polly, Chef Mo, came together to create the "dream team." My venture was a 7 year vision that Natalia and her team helped make into a reality. Natalia, the operations manager is warm, accommodating, and innovative. She and her team work hard to make sure your needs are met and that you feel like the only guest at the resort. Chef Mo is a master at her craft and creates delicious culinary experiences. Nourish, the restaurant at VIDA, is a true gem at the resort. The VIDA staff and the contractors that they use are all personable, professional, and pleasant. The accommodations are clean, beautiful and upscale. The resort really does work hard to give you the very best experience. I really cannot say enough about VIDA. Check them out, you will be happy you did! I am already planning my next retreat and trip back!

Came here for a women’s wellness retreat. Had a lovely time. The accommodations are top notch h. Natalia’s customer service was outstanding from even before I made it to the resort. Excellent choice for a yoga or mindfulness retreat. The food was fantastic. Not the best location for a beach vacation but they offer a shuttle that will conveniently take you to a nicer beach. Good location for calm and reflection, probably too quiet for families with school age kids, but great for families with babies and young children. I felt very safe here.

I went to Vida to get ready for my wedding! It was amazing. We had a two bedroom suite. The rooms are clean and super spacious. You even have a stove to cook some eggs or have some drinks in your full size fridge. You have smart phone in your room and that’s how you communicate with the front desk. They update you on what’s going on at the hotel during the week. Send you menus and even take food orders. The food at Nourish was also amazing. My husband and I are vegetarians and we were very pleased with the options they had. The staff are amazing and very accommodating. Natalia was beyond helpful throughout this whole year - helping me get everything I needed or sort out my family staying at the hotel as well. Highly recommend you stay here!

We had an amazing stay at Vida Cayman! We stayed in a three bedroom and it was an exceptional room. There is a very large kitchen/dining/living room area for large gatherings and well as an extra large balcony area with plenty of seating. Everything was very clean and there was a well stocked kitchen. They leave you a water bottle for each guest which was a nice extra that we all used all week. You have a cell phone in your room that you can use to send and receive messages so communication is excellent. Every person working at Vida was friendly, helpful and made us feel welcomed. They have snorkels, beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow for your beach adventures. This hotel is located in a quiet part of the island that is next to a preserved area so they do not have a swimming beach, but you can enjoy long quiet walks. We rented a car which we highly recommend as there is a lot to explore that requires a vehicle. There is a restaurant on the bottom floor called Nourish that serves breakfast and lunch. They have a great menu and they will accommodate dietary restrictions and requests if they have it available. They made you feel like you were eating at a friends house. There is indoor and outdoor seating. There is a delicious italian restaurant just a few steps away from the property I highly recommend for dinner and you should call for reservations. The pool area is small but peaceful and plenty of seating for sunbathing, reading or gathering with friends. We took a relaxing yoga class too! Overall, I highly recommend Vida for a secluded location in a beautiful hotel with wonderful staff.
