JI Hotel Hotels in Wenchang

All good. Room is clean and spacious enough for family of 6. The only downside is time taken waiting for lift. Waited for a good 15mins to go from our room to the lobby. 3 lifts to serve many rooms for 20 levels and 1 lift broke down are simply too laggy. But enjoyed our trip in Wenchang!

Even though my husband and I are far away from home, the housekeeper Anni has provided us the hospitality by recommending us places of interests and a place where we could have a good meal. She even helped us book the high speed rail tickets together with her colleague Mindy and reminded me gently to check out on time to catch the train. Kudos to Anni and Mindy!

This stay just in time for the Wenchang Overseas Chinese Culture Festival. I thought the hotel would have no time to take care of individual guests. I didn’t expect to receive a call from Ms. Fan, the guest manager of the front office, patiently asked about the needs of the stay. After learning that it was a parent-child trip, we also upgraded the parent-child room for us. Children like it very much; Due to the delay of the return plan, I applied for a late check-out. Manager Fan also asked the superior to help solve it. I am very grateful to 👍! Although there are large-scale meetings and reception tasks, the hotel is in a well-organized overall, the staff service is better, and the restaurant meal time is also delayed, which is very user-friendly! Staff are patient every time they handle extra meals at the entrance of the restaurant. I don’t know if others have found that the restaurant waiter has a young guy with glasses, his face is a bit round, he looks up to 20 years old, he is a super substitute, he can quickly find out if the guests have difficulties and need help, not much words, but do practical things, and very hearty, At the end of March, my child asked him to help him get a straw. When he checked in for dinner a week later, he took the initiative to ask if he needed a straw. Really caring, very hard at work! The photo was a bit deformed, but I can still recognize this person, a young man very suitable for the hotel service industry!

Conveniently locate and easy access to amenities. Front desk staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is very dated. Though the bedroom was decently clean, the bathroom was a mess. It had stain marks all over the walls. The groutings in the shower cubicle had mild dew stains and so was the anti-slip bath mat. It is definitely not fit to be used. The foldable wooden windows above the wash basin had rotted and the paint was coming off. Coordination between front office and dining room staff was poor resulting in me being questioned about my eligibility to have breakfast. A moment of embarrassment. However the manager apologised and sent us a complimentary fruit platter and a pot tea.

This time I came to stay at the Wenchang Nanguo Wyndham Garden Hotel and the experience was really good. The hotel is next to Gaolong Bay Beach. You can see the sunrise on the balcony in the morning. It is very close to the beach. The hotel's greenery is also very good, and the photos are very good. It has been a bit rainy these days. If the sun comes out, the photos will be more beautiful. The hotel is also close to the city and the transportation is quite convenient. This time I was received by Vicky, the guest relations. She was very thoughtful, enthusiastic and careful. The problems encountered during the stay were also solved well, and the follow-up was also in place. The maintenance of various facilities is also good. The lobby is elegantly decorated. There will be welcome tea for guests to drink at the front desk every day. The breakfast content is also very rich. The noodle soup is delicious and recommended. There are some third-party motorboats on the beach, and the beach car charges are also cheap. There is also a large library in Building A. There is a children's playground next to it for children to play. There will be some electric ones in it so that children will not be bored. I will choose this hotel to stay next time

Arranged on the top floor, with a 180-degree invincible sea view. The facilities are property-style apartment hotels, which are incomparable to star hotels, but the room is oversized and the scenery is beautiful.

There are coconut trees downstairs of the hotel, parking spaces, many places to eat nearby, a popular morning tea shop, and a fruit market. The shop owner said that the room type was upgraded. When I moved in, I saw a small hall with a corridor and dim lights. The signal was not good because it was separated by the bathroom, so it was almost useless. The balcony was quite large and it was quite comfortable to sit on when it was cool.

Very good hotel, although it is the first time, but gave me a deep impression, the hotel staff are very warm and attentive, the room arrangement is very quiet, check-in and check-out are very fast, I hope to stay again next time to have time to take a few pictures. Super OK.

The Wenchang room was specious and modern and cheap at 200 yuan, compared with Sanya at 300 yuan with much older facilities. There were no mosquitos or bugs encountered and the linens were spotting white. Can only smell a little tobacco smoke in the lift, but it never permeates the bedroom. I did not experience any noise or disturbances from outside the room. The buffet was cheap at 19 yuan with a wide varieties of food. There is a fast food restaurant next door and another further down the same road, about 50m away. A big chicken & egg pau plus a big pot of tea cost 8 yuan. Very cheap indeed. If travelling on your own, a scooter ride will be the most convenient, on average 10 yuan. Just go to the nearest main road and there will be one within 5 mins. However, looking for a cab will be difficult and I would suggest using Weixin (WeChat) to do so. I failed to do it due to my foreign card being blocked and I had to use the scooter taxis. Receptionists and cleaners are very helpful and would order taxis, gave me directions and suggested the restaurants to go to. One even looked after my washing without asking. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone.
