There are coconut trees downstairs of the hotel, parking spaces, many places to eat nearby, a popular morning tea shop, and a fruit market. The shop owner said that the room type was upgraded. When I moved in, I saw a small hall with a corridor and dim lights. The signal was not good because it was separated by the bathroom, so it was almost useless. The balcony was quite large and it was quite comfortable to sit on when it was cool.

I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an exceptional experience. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and offered a stunning seaview that made our stay truly memorable. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially Bella, who provided us with detailed information about the local area and ensured we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. An exceptional highlight was when we accidentally left some belongings behind after checkout. Mindy went above and beyond to assist us. She took the initiative to post our items to our next hotel in a different city and even covered the cost herself. Overall, the staff were exceedingly helpful, and their outstanding service made our stay extraordinary. Highly recommended!

Perhaps this is the strongest hotel in Wenchang after experiencing the strongest typhoon. The garden is still so beautiful, and the beach sand is very fine. The service is considerate, the lobby is spacious and bright, and the bookshelves are well-organized. This is not just about seeing the sea view. It is where you can listen to a story about the sea quietly with your heart. Or you can encounter a sunrise at sea, or play on the beach with your children... The big city is noisy and noisy, come here to listen to the story of the sea when you are tired!

The experience is not very good. I booked a big bed room in the market, and somehow I was replaced with a couple room. Although the room is not small, the space utilization rate is low. Some civil furnishings occupy a place and are not easy to clean. After all, there are so many rooms that cannot emulate the personalized thinking of the homestay. Breakfast is not full, spend 36 yuan plus double breakfast, do not expect to eat more delicious and full, there is no problem, the result is not a buffet, you can choose the same in 15-18 yuan noodles, noodles or wontons, even milk or soy milk; And it was said that there was breakfast at 7:30. I went down at nearly 8 o'clock and no one greeted me. I waited for half an hour. I don't want to give a bad review with confidence, but I really hope to improve.

After traveling along the Ring Road from Haikou, I settled in this hotel. The price/performance ratio was unexpectedly high. The front desk service was in place. The room facilities were complete. The sanitation was also very good. The breakfast was also good. Parking was relatively convenient around

This is really a very nice hotel, unexpected in a relatively small town. The room looks new and is very comfortable. I especially liked the cosy seating area near the window. Staff was exceptionally friendly as well. The immediate surroundings of the hotel are not very interesting, but the location is very convenient nonetheless: walking distance (20-30 minutes) to Qilou Old Street, only 2 bus stops away from the train station and also close to local buses to tourist areas such as Tonggu Ridge (though I've read not all sites there are open to foreigners, I mainly wanted to see Gusong fishing village and that's no problem) and Gaolong Bay. The only area of improvement is that this hotel has a tendency to keep calling customers before their stay (3 times I got an SMS in Chinese saying something like ”Meilin Hotel is going to call you, please pick up”, followed by a call from an unknown number). I can communicate in simple Chinese but am not great at doing phone calls in Chinese and in any case I hate this kind of insistent phone calls. I didn't pick up but after the second call checked with Trip.com what was wrong, expecting some major problem. It turned out the hotel just wanted to confirm a small change I had made to my booking, which had already been confirmed in the app anyway... While this attitude is perhaps meant as service, I perceived it as annoying and superfluous and I would strongly suggest the hotel stops harassing customers with phone calls unless there's a real emergency. Having said this, the staff on site in the hotel was exceptionally friendly and polite; this is one of the few hotels in China where staff members actually greeted me when I walked past reception, which was much appreciated! I definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again if I ever visited Wenchang again.

The hotel is relatively old and the parking space is also public roadside parking, but the hotel is very considerate to place a list of nearby beautiful scenery and food at the front desk. There are not many breakfast shops open during the Spring Festival, but you can still find Laoba Tea.

It is close to Wenchang Park. Opposite the park is the Confucius Temple and the Hualong Tower-Li Boyang Ancestral Hall. It is about one kilometer away from the arcade of Wennan Old Street and has convenient transportation~ The hotel appears to be newly opened, but the facilities look more than fifteen years old, and the linens are also a bit old. During the few days I stayed there, the shops on the second floor of the building were being renovated and it was noisy… It is worth mentioning that there is a ”Xinhaifu Barbeque Restaurant” not far from the hotel, about 100 meters away from the left turn. It is recommended to try it~

We planned to go to Wennan Old Street and Confucius Temple the next day, so we chose to stay in a nearby hotel. Advantages: 1. The room is large, and the children can play and move around with a bunch of luggage. The two beds are large in size, easy to move, and put together is very convenient for families with two children. The bedding is good and the sleeping experience is very good. The balcony is quite large and the view is relatively wide. 2. The location of the hotel is very good. There is a gas station across the road, close to the downtown area, and complete supporting facilities. 3. The shower is very good and the bath is comfortable. Disadvantages 1. The surrounding environment of the hotel is a bit messy. There are two clubs in front, and the parking lot is full of garbage, and the hygiene is worrying. Others, The projection is OK, not to mention the giant screen audio and video. The partridge tea bags in the room are unique, and the decoration style gives people a sense of Hainan characteristics. Overall, the price-performance ratio is above average.
