Everything available on the door step. Staff were warm and welcoming. Comfy beds and great air con.

Room The room was a good size and well laid out, with adequate space to move around comfortably. Everything was clean and well-maintained, giving a pleasant and tidy first impression overall. Bathroom A decent size and kept clean. Water pressure was strong, which is always a plus. However, there was a notably unpleasant smell in the bathroom throughout the stay, which detracted from the experience. The shower curtain setup is not ideal — a fixed screen would be a significant improvement. Bed Exceptionally comfortable. A genuinely good night’s sleep — the bedding and mattress quality were well above what you might expect at this price point. Hotel Excellent location — convenient, accessible, and secure. The property felt safe and well-managed, which adds real peace of mind, particularly for solo travellers or overnight business stays. Customer Service Standout. Upon arrival, an incorrect room was allocated, but the issue was identified and resolved within minutes — no fuss, no delays. That kind of efficient, no-nonsense response is exactly what good hospitality looks like. Bar Good. Solid offering for a Travelodge — perfectly adequate for an evening drink or a wind-down after a long day. Late Check-Out Late check-out was available and taken up — a welcome flexibility that made the stay even more convenient. Overall: A reliable, comfortable stay with a great location and responsive staff. The bathroom smell is the one area that needs attention, but it doesn’t overshadow an otherwise positive experience. Would return.

The air-conditioning is broken inn over half the hotel staff are not being heard by head office to fix it just told to hand out fans which blow around hot air. Staff are lovely but unfortunately can't resolve the problem. Been told the air-conditioning has been broken for a year now. Head office need to sort this out. I refuse to stay again until this is fixed

Myself and my partner booked one night hereafter checking it had air con, as we wanted a cool nights sleep during the heatwave in the uk. We paid £129.99. When we arrived we noticed a poorly written note on the reception saying the air con wasn’t working. It was only when we asked about this the staff said yes it’s stopped working. The reception itself had fully functioning air con though! We thought we would see how bad it was… it was roasting in the rooms and corridors. We went back to reception and asked for a refund and told we could only get 50% back as we had “used” the room. Well we had to enter the room to know if it was bearable or not. We took the 50% back and have written to customer services in order to try and get the rest. We then sought another Travelodge nearby and surprisingly they had the same issue. Air con functioning in the reception but not the rooms. So it can’t just be a coincidence. We would think this is a Travelodge thing where they have been made to turn off the air con as it’s too expensive. Very disappointing

Eszter was brilliant, she cooked an unbelievable burger 10 out of 10. Abhi poured us a cracking Guinness and was super friendly

Mostly the bed. Lacked any table next to bed. The room was huge. It was a disability room and definitely easy to get around.

Booked for 2 nights for a wedding. Room & venue were great. 85 bar cafe has everything you need. Kumar was an attentive host & talked us through the process & made sure we had everything we needed. The reception staff were very helpful too. Only downside is the WiFi isn’t the best & kept dropping off even when I bought the 48 hour package. Overall a great experience xx

My stay at the travelodge was exceptional! It’s a modern and chic hotel with lots of well designed spaces and rooms. I want to highlight the staff, Abhi welcomed us and made check in so smooth he was so kind and welcoming. Kumar was so helpful with breakfast service in the mornings, they always smiled and asked if we were comfortable. This made me smile each day. Genuinely impressed with the team here and the break fast and dinner was great quality!

Past experience with this hotel have been good. However, arriving on May. 31,2026, checked out on June 2. Two nights! Bed quality, very poor! Room looked over the garbage bins with trash everywhere. Took us 40.minutes at the front desk to check in as Receptionist tried to find a room. We had made reservations some time ago. Coming here for 4 years, we knew staff members. Staff also knew we needed a room. Close to reception as my husband has Parkinsons and has walking restrictions. A new receptionist we asked for a room as close to reception. We were given 152 which is one room away from the furthest away in the hotel. With baggage to carry this was totally uncalled for. We felt we were being punished for having asked for a room close to reception and the elevator out. So our continued patronage is no longer recognized, nor assistance with elderly guests. The view from our room with all the garbage belos, a disgrace!
