Mzion Hotel Weligama

The staff is outstanding! Service at a very high level, giving a warm and kind attitude, made me feel as comfortable as possible and answered every need I needed! When I returned to Weligama, I returned to them again and I have no doubt that I will come here again in the future!

The hospitality of the personell is so good! The rooms are clean and new. In just 1 minute by foot youe are on the beach! The breakfast is also good, with 3 options, like western, srilankan and also with fresh fruits and milkshake. Defenitely recommend to stay here!

Fantastic little hotel that’s brand new and right in the centre of Weligama. Very modern, extremely large and good quality rooms. Very clean - they will clean the room whenever you ask. Good WiFi which is a bonus in this part of Sri Lanka. The staff are all super helpful and sweet

The best hotel we stayed in in Sri Lanka! Everything is new and clean, the staff always wanted to help us, we were very happy to stay here for a wonderful 7 days. Breakfast is very tasty and large, cleaning is 5++. The location is super, 5 minutes to the surf spot, supermarket and restaurants.

Excellent bedrooms, with lots of space, very clean bathrooms and a great view of the Weligama area. The staff were wonderful. This hotel is only a 2 minute walking distance from the beach. Wonderful location surronded by the most incredible authentic Sri Lankan seafood.

This hotel honestly exceeded my expectations. The hotel looked nice and clean, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. Although we booked a standard room, it was still very nice and very spacious; beds were very comfortable and the room had everything needed. Bathrooms were very clean too. Although the description states 3 star hotel, I’d say it’s comparable to a 5 star in terms of service. The location is also very convenient as it’s a 5 minute walk to the beach. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Although there were only a few people working at the hotel, they made sure everything was attended to- from the basics of assisting us to quickly fulfilling all our requests. Lastly, the food was excellent. Everything was seasoned well and had good presentation. We had bought seafood from one of the local fish shops and had asked them to prepare it for dinner rather late but it was still well done. Both Sri Lankan and continental breakfast was also offered - it was very filling and we didn’t even need lunch. Overall, my family and I were very happy with our stay and would definitely book it a second time. The hotel has few ratings as it’s still brand new, but I see it doing well in the future.

I spent 5 nights at Mzion, after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka. It is definitely the best hotel I stayed in. It is immaculately clean and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were all helpful and professional. It is less than 5 minutes walking to Weligama beach and has lots of great restaurants nearby.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms and good service. We stay here in January and probably it’s the best hotel on the coast. Rooms are clean and personnel do everything for your comfort. The sea is in two minutes from the hotel. There are good restaurants and cafes near.

The services are perfect!! Starting from the follow up upon confirmation, assistance of local services, like bike rental, tuktuk, currency exchange, and everything! They are passionate to arrange for us without extra charges! Room was perfect too! Good view! Perfect facilities! Everything is there, even come with free fruit baskek! Maybe its occasional, it's a wonderful experience! It's just one step away from Weligama beach
