Premier Inn Watford Central

Good service

Perfect. Exactly what I expeected and hoped for. Room ready and spotless, good bathroom, everything worked. Fast check in. Breakfast was Premier Inn standard. Plenty of choice, all hot and fresh looking. As much as you want.

The hotel was like a sauna during the recent heatwave. No air con & fans made no difference. When we complained we were told a lot of guests had already left as it was too hot! We were not in a situation to leave!! Do NOT stay here in hot weather you will regret it!

Premier Inn Watford Central does not have air-conditioning. Do not stay here in hot weather. The bedroom heat was unbearable. We were on the 3rd floor. It was the equivalent of being left in a fan assisted oven. The staff were excellent & did everything they could to help. They need to update their premises & install air conditioning.

Worst experience of my life in any hotel in the history of the world. Failed aircon & 3 fans for company blowing boiling hot air around the room on what has been the hottest June spell in history. The staff were lovely and the room was nice, you always know what to expect from a Premier Inn but I cannot stress how awful this stay was. We drank 6 litres of water in the afternoon and night and woke up totally dehydrated. The hotel should have been closed. It was unsafe & in hindsight I should have used the work safe procedure from the health and safety at work act for those poor employees having to face us all

We stayed here for a couple of nights. We had an evening meal on both nights. Food was outstanding. Steak was cooked to perfection, fish and chips nice crispy batter and the pizza was amazing.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was excellent, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The service was outstanding throughout my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again.

We were late getting to the hotel at almost midnight The young lady was very nice who booked us in .At least we managed to get a pint in before the bar closes . Reached our room we had booked a double ,and for me and my friend a twin ,opened the door to the same reaction you get ,opening an oven door . Opened the window ,and placed both fans on , basically blew hot air around. For a twin room ,you get a double ,and a smaller single , basically a kids bed . I tried both ,and what a difference. Tossed up who got the little bed ,me , I'm a big chap .it certainly wasn't the best bed I've crashed in ,but not the worst either . It was so hot , literally when I managed it I slept on top of the quilt.fsns brought temperature down ,but not enough ,had to get up and turn it off ,behind noisy. Headed down to a busy dining room,managed to get settled at a table . Many coffees ,juice etc ,before having the cooked breakfast ,toast took at absolute age . But cannot knock premier breakfasts .value for money ,normally nice , The egg was a bit sloppy,but over all nice brekkie .8 /10 . Our twin isn't really , it's a double and basically a kids bed. Shouldn't be classed as a twin .my bed 4/10 , double 8 /10 . With room cooking ,sleep was a hit and miss . Mate said his room was hot but bed was fine
