I stayed at Travelodge Watford Central for two nights with my family. Unfortunately, my experience with the service was very disappointing. Communication at reception was difficult and not very welcoming. Even though I paid for both breakfast and dinner, no one clearly explained how the food service worked. When I went down for dinner, I was told the wait would be around 45 minutes, but I ended up waiting nearly two hours. The food arrived burnt and was not enjoyable, so I didn’t eat it. I also had an issue when trying to pay extra for food, as the card payment was not working and there was no flexibility or alternative offered, which made the situation even more stressful. However, I would really like to highlight Anna from the housekeeping team. She was very friendly, helpful and made me feel looked after, which I really appreciated. Her attitude and care really stood out. Thank you Anna – you made a difference during my stay.
