Waterloo Suites Hotel, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

The staff at the hotel were very pleasant. The rooms needed upgrading. The hotel seemed to have a new section and an old section. We along with two our other 2 couples were housed in the old part. Why???? The safe in the room did not lock. The table in-front of the sofa had paint peeling and scuffed off. It needed to be replaced badly. The door on the wardrobe was missing . The hinges exposed. Who removed the door? Who wants to see their cloths hanging in-front of you while watching TV? Thermosat hanging on wall inoperative to control a/c. Why have it there if not working. I could go on, but why. Last thing, this hotel seems to be a place maybe the government is housing new immigrants . Adults and kids everywhere . They definitely were not tourist type overnighters. This made us along with others very uncomfortable. It made us feel like we were not at a hotel, but maybe a housing centre or detention centre. ????? This is not up to the Wyndham standards I am sure. I wonder if they know. ????? We will not stay there in the future. Does Trip.com know what they are booking?

This hotel is located in a somewhat remote area, but if you have a car, it's quite convenient. There is a shopping center and many restaurants beside the hotel. What impressed me most about this hotel stay was the excellent service provided by their super manager. When we were having dinner in the restaurant, we left a coat behind. The hotel manager took good care of it and returned it to us.
