"This time, traveling with my child, I really have to give a huge shout-out to my dedicated butler, Emily! Her thoughtful service made our family trip incredibly delightful and memorable. From the moment we checked in, Emily was incredibly considerate. She not only proactively showed us the kid-friendly areas in the hotel but also thoughtfully reminded us of the children's activity schedule. My child had an absolute blast at the hotel and kept saying they didn't want to leave every day. On our departure day, because we wanted to visit a nearby attraction with our child, we requested a late check-out. Emily, without hesitation, arranged it for us and even specifically told us not to rush and to enjoy our outing. Having such a warm and reliable butler truly reduced much of the travel fatigue. My child and I have already decided that for our next trip, we'll choose this hotel again and ask for Emily to be our butler!"

Hotel near Shangdi Industrial Park/Xisanqi,Beijing
Xishan Hot Spring Hotel is located in the northwest of Haidian. The hot spring water comes from the rich mineral hot springs 3,000 meters below the Xishan Mountains. It is a leisure resort that packages hot springs, accommodation, dining, health care and entertainment together to bring everyone a perfect holiday experience with the concept of "happiness, fashion and health".

"I booked two rooms, one as part of a package and one regular. The hotel called ahead to let me know check-in was at 3 PM. When we arrived, the front desk upgraded our rooms, and they were quite spacious. There were some incredibly thoughtful details: my mother had forgotten her charging cable, but then, to our pleasant surprise, she found the hotel had provided three different charging cables right on the nightstand! Just that alone made us so happy. The bathroom also thoughtfully included disposable toilet seat covers! The room even had a dedicated area with teaware for brewing Gongfu tea! Since my mother is older, we didn't plan to go to the hot springs in our room. Instead, we just walked around and had dinner. We asked for directions twice, and the staff kindly escorted us. When they saw us looking for water, they brought some over enthusiastically. The next morning, while having tea, I felt so grateful – thank you very much! My child went to the hot springs and was very satisfied with the environment. The temperature throughout was perfect, allowing you to wear short sleeves without catching a cold, and the various hot spring pools had different temperatures to suit everyone's needs! A special shout-out to the Langlizi buffet restaurant. The selection was comprehensive. Although we seniors couldn't eat much, everything we wanted was there, and the group purchase price was very affordable! Since it wasn't a weekend, it wasn't crowded at all, which was very satisfying. The restaurant staff were also very dedicated. I'd give this hotel a perfect score. As it was our first time staying here, we didn't realize that Xishan Hot Spring Hotel and Langlizi were the same establishment. We had to search for parking for a while, so I hope the hotel can inform first-time guests about this. Free parking is a huge plus! Overall, we were extremely satisfied! Oh, and there was also a small snack platter upon check-in, thank you!"

"Our stay at Longxi Vienus International Convention Center was fantastic. The room was impeccably clean. We were also treated to a complimentary fruit plate. The kids especially adored the large balcony, which offered expansive views of the pool and lush greenery. Breakfast in the morning was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options that the kids absolutely loved. We'd like to specifically commend Ms. Gan Jingxuan for her incredibly thoughtful service. We also spent a significant amount of time enjoying the Longxi Hot Spring Water World. The water was pristine, the service was great, and there was an impressive array of hot spring pools to choose from. The children had a blast, especially with the bubble machine experience. Manager Wang Fang also deserves a special shout-out for her exceptionally attentive service. We definitely plan to return!"

The Palace Garden Hotel (Langlizi Xishan Huayuan Jiudian) is located approximately 38 km (24 mi) from Beijing Capital International Airport.Diners enjoy Chinese food at the hotel restaurant. In their spare time, guests can unwind with a drink in the bar. Recreational facilities include a gym and an indoor swimming pool. Those wanting to relax can make use of the hot spring. This Beijing hotel provides Wi-Fi in public areas as well as parking on site.

"I took my family to vacation on May Day. The hot springs were not as crowded as I imagined, and I always found a relatively quiet pool! The hygiene was good, and the waiters were very polite and considerate. You can see user feedback posters with ”Complain if you are unhappy” posted in many places. The customer service was very good. It is recommended to choose a room with a window to see the outside view. I booked two suites, one for the outside view for the elderly, and one for the inside view. I stayed for two days and felt inexplicably friendly when I saw the poplar trees outdoors... I especially want to praise the meal! ! I have eaten a lot of buffets in many cities. The music buffet is 238 per person. The price-performance ratio makes me feel like I am in a new first-tier city in the south. The price is much cheaper than many hotel buffets in Beijing, and even the price of buffet restaurants, but the food is really great! There are small hot pots, seafood abalone, crab legs, scallops and shrimps, and beef and mutton rolls are also good. I don't eat sashimi, but I saw a lot of them. Roast duck and roast lamb legs are also good. Sea cucumber millet porridge and Buddha jump over the wall are full of ingredients. The most favorite is crayfish, which has two flavors of garlic and spicy. You can completely enjoy the crayfish! I didn't eat the buffet at the hot spring, but there is a small hot pot with a 19.9 package of pot base dipping sauce and three vegetarian dishes. I really recommend it! ! We really ordered three 19.9 for three people, added a pickled garlic and a bottle of soda, and ate until our stomachs were full. It was very enjoyable!"

"This is a Crowne Plaza in Yanqing, perfect for a family getaway. The room size is significantly larger than similarly priced rooms in the city, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – I slept wonderfully! Both the breakfast and dinner buffets were good. The short-haired lady who greeted us and seated us at the restaurant was exceptionally nice, very warm and friendly. The resort grounds offer fishing, a mini-train, a rainbow slide, and even the hotel's own parent-child craft classes! It's a fantastic choice for kids. The hotel staff's service attitude was excellent; everyone was very patient. Alice and Justin from the front desk were particularly outstanding."

"I've been coming back to this place pretty much every year. Even when it was still called Shiyuan Tangquan, I always felt it offered incredible value for money, especially considering it provides private hot spring pools. Finding a B&B with a private pool in Beijing can easily set you back nearly 2000 RMB. While the hot spring facilities downstairs are a little dated now, they're still perfectly adequate for kids to have a great time. The breakfast spread is also very generous; they even serve tofu pudding with fermented bean curd and chive flower paste, which I personally find much more delicious than the common savory versions. The property is conveniently located right next to the Beijing Expo Park. I heard there's a night market there during the summer evenings, but we unfortunately missed it due to the rain. There's also an iQIYI Amusement Park nearby, which kept the kids thoroughly entertained and really filled our two-day itinerary. My only suggestions would be to add more dining options and give the hot spring facilities some much-needed maintenance. We'll definitely be back for another visit!"

This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The Nangong Spring Season Hotel is a great family-oriented resort with a lot to like. Both the Chinese and Japanese restaurants had tasty food and were quick to bring our orders. The children’s playground was excellent, with a large, clean and brightly lit play area. The hotel water park was larger than I expected, although the main enclosed water park was closed. There was a significant quantity of black mould in the play area and some of the water toys were being held together with caulking, but it was serviceable. The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable, although in dire need of maintenance. All in all our stay was great value for money and we would definitely consider returning."

Situated in the Daoxiang Lake Wetland Park, the Nirvana Resort (Daoxiang Hujing Jiudian) is about a 35-minute drive from the Great Wall and a 40-minute drive from the airport. In this Beijing hotel, guests will find Chinese, Western, Japanese and Korean cuisines served at the on-site restaurants. "Review: Stay Home This trip was like an encounter with prehistoric man and a case study of a failed business combined. If you book a standard room, you will be taken away from the five star reception area to another building which has the decor and standards of a thirty year old hotel. Faded carpets, peeling walls, smelly interiors, uncleaned floors and rooms which are impossible to heat. But it was just about liveable, in that it had a bed and hot water. What totally failed to impress were the amenities. We'd come for the children's stuff, the little zoo, water park and others. The price of these are not included in the hotel, and for each experience they charge adults and baby to the tune of 80rmb, meaning you will spend quite a bit to use it all. As soon as I saw the children's rides I became depressed, they were rusting and looked murderous, as if the nuts and bolts would be dislodged and explode fatally in all directions if a kid shook too heavily on the things. To even use anything suggested you'd become unclean as well. Then you attempt to ask staff something but stop when you realise how futile it would be to address someone with one eye in its forehead and the other in its chin, with their peers boasting similarly fascinating facial misalignments. An hour of that and we wanted to leave, including our baby. She would have been much happier at home playing with her toys, or rather just happy at home doing anything than being at the Nirvana resort. Anyway, the swimming pool is not free either, they will charge you 58 a person including child. When I went to ask about a swim, staff were downright stunned I'd walked in to ask such a question, watching as I entered and left with hillbilly intensity and incomprehension. You can see the park had a lot of money invested in it before, way back in the misty past, but I can't see them recouping their losses. The resort is a grab money scheme with separate interests taking care of, or neglecting, what is on offer. I can't see them attracting a moneyed middle class without a total overhaul. On the plus side, my wife and I did have a good laugh about how bad it was and the fact we'd packed for a few days in expectation of a holiday, but found ourselves cancelling after an hour. The reception was helpful with this and refunded our money. The staff are well meaning in a vacuous kind of way, going about their duties as the whole place drops about them, broken lifts, falling plaster, water leaks and all. But to be sincerely positive, the gardens are pleasant along with the lake and ducks."
