We arrived at the Hilton Hotel and the check in was fine, we got to our room and started unpacking, the room was really warm so we went to turn down the heating but it wouldn't work, we rang reception and they sent someone out, however the unit was broken so we had to move to another room which wasn't an issue, we got to our next room and unpacked, we had a table booked at a restaurant for 6pm so got ready and went to put our valuable's in the safe but that didn't work, we rang reception and they said they would send someone out to look at it, by this time it was getting on so we had to leave and took everything with us. On our return we noticed that the safe was still broken so we again rang reception, this is the bit I was not impressed with, the safe couldn't be fixed there and then and there solution to this was that we put our valuable's in the staff safe in reception, for the Hilton Hotel Brand I thought this was a totally inadequate response to the situation, so we stayed the weekend without a safe in the room
