HORRIBLE!!! Avoid this hotel at all costs. After a long day of travel with our 9 year old son we arrived at the hotel at around 11:30 pm. Our flight landed just after 11pm. We had a confirmed reservation for one night and were exhausted from a long day of travel and were eager to get a good night rest. When we arrived we noticed someone’s workout clothes on the floor outside the door of the gym in the middle of our path. We circumvented the dirty clothes in the floor and we arrived at the front desk and told the gentleman we had a reservation. He told us that there were no rooms available despite having a reservation. He told me it was my fault for not checking in earlier and that my reserved room had been given to someone else. He went on to tell me I would need to call and request a refund and then blamed me for booking through a third party when in fact I booked with HILTON DIRECTLY. Never in my life have I heard of this and when I proceeded to inquire he then changed his story and said he didn’t have any clean rooms available. I asked if I could speak with a manager who emerged from a back room. He rudely sat at the computer and told me that he in fact had a room after all. After arriving in our room exhausted and exasperated we found a filthy room with a disheveled bed, crumbs on the floor and a smell that was like a stomach churning combination of beef jerky, maple syrup and vomit. My 9 year old son asked if we could sleep in the car instead and my husband and I considered it. I will NEVER stay at another Hilton property. What a nightmare.

This was a very good place to stay near T. F. Green Airport, Providence, RI. There was a free breakfast with all sorts of cold and hot choices. Free airport shuttle. I'm handicapped and walk with a cane, so I needed assistance with luggage. Usually this hotel doesn't have that as they are more like a motel when it comes to that kind of service but they were so helpful and accommodating. Make sure to request handicapped-accessible rooms/baths when making reservations. The beds are so, so comfortable with pillowtops. Orlando, the Maintenance guy, was wonderful. He brought all my luggage to my room. The next morning, I was leaving for the airport and he was the driver of the van. I guess he wears many hats! He was so amazing-brought my luggage to the van, from the van to the curb-side check in, waited to make sure they has a wheelchair for me to get through the airport. Awesome service!! The only concern I had at the hotel was the TV remote was filthy. I had to wipe it with alcohol swabs before I used it(and washed my hands 3 times in between). When I let the front desk know, they were appropriately concerned and said they would address it with their housekeeping staff. Good response to a complaint.

We encountered Gina tonight at The Loft. Her service was amazing!!! I’m so glad that we stopped for a night cap after such a long day of training. She made the exact drink I suggested even better than the original. Thank you Gina for making our night the best! You are one of a kind. The Loft is very lucky to have you as an employee. A very grateful patrons.

I had an unexpected 5-night stay at this hotel when my daughter tested positive for COVID while attending a residential summer camp nearby. She had to come home for 5 days, but after that point, once she tested negative, she was permitted to return as a day camper for the remainder of the session. My daughter and I stayed at this hotel during that final week of camp; I drove her to the camp every morning and picked her up every night. Luckily, this hotel had a large suite with a kitchenette available during our stay. After returning to the hotel in the morning, I was able to plug in my laptop and work during the day, pausing to make myself a nice lunch, even grab a workout in the gym. I could not have asked for a more convenient hotel in terms of access and amenities. A word about the location: We took the Amtrak train to Providence station, then took an Uber to the hotel (around $16, as I recall). The hotel is located immediately next to the car rental garage for T.F. Green Providence Airport. So we checked in, put our bags in our room, and then I walked across the parking lot to pick up our rental car. It could not have been more convenient! I then drove to the nearby Trader Joe's to buy some groceries for the week. There aren't really any restaurants or shops within walking distance of the hotel, so it was very convenient to have the breakfast buffet that was included with our stay, and then be able to heat up a frozen meal or make a salad for lunch. The hotel is spotless and seems very new. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely. The general manager, Milton, went out of his way to help us and to make our stay as pleasant as possible. In particular, I want to give special thanks for how accommodating Milton was after I had gotten confused about having to change rooms during our stay. He had previously told me that the suite would only be available until Thursday, and that we would have to switch to a regular room for our final night. However, when we checked in, the front desk person told us we would be in the suite the entire time. I should have clarified this with Milton, but given the stressful and chaotic circumstances of the week, it slipped to the bottom of my list. Ultimately, Milton was able to move things around so that we were able to stay in the suite. I felt horribly guilty about this, but he was gracious and extremely understanding. I will always remember how kindly he treated me (and other guests too). I am a Hyatt Globalist and have stayed at dozens and dozens of different Hyatt properties over the years, including very upscale Park Hyatts and Andaz properties around the world. This cheerful, spotless, and comfortable airport hotel will always stand out in my memory because it was exactly what I needed, delivered with the highest level of service. Many thanks to the entire team at this hotel!
