Excellent Service and excellent location

If you need a quick place before flying out this probably works. The rooms are dated and there is not much to them. If absolutely necessary I would stay here again, but wouldn’t pick this place for an extended stay. The staff was super friendly, no issues there. The walkway to the airport is confusing, probably needs more directions in the lobby and as you are going to the walkway outside.

Booked a package through Park. Sleep Fly here. Hotel is fine… room was clean, front desk was accommodating and breakfast has good clean options included in cost of room and location to the airport is great. Do yourself a favor and book your room and parking separately from groups like Park sleep fly. You will get grossly overcharged by the package. The package has nothing to do with the Marriott. Unfortunately I did not check my options before I booked it and chose the nonrefundable package (thinking I was going to see myself a few $$) and paid much more had I booked with Marriott myself. Again, this has nothing to do with the Marriott and I would recommend this hotel if you have an early flight or otherwise.

Booked one night here under the stay & fly package as we had a 5:30am flight out the next morning. The girl at check-out was not very helpful, and started to charge me for parking. I explained what rate we had booked. She then had me fill out a slip of paper, and gave me a sign to put in my car window. She did not explain how the shuttle or walkway worked, I had to ask a lot of leading questions to understand what we had to do the next morning. I asked about the walkway to the airport, and she pointed down a hall. I asked how long to walk, and she said about 5 minutes. I then asked if it's do-able with luggage, and she sort of laughed, and said no. We got to our room which was clean but REEKED of pot. If we had been staying longer I would have asked to switch although I don't think it would have made a difference as you could smell it in the hallway, although much stronger in our room. We closed the bathroom door for the night, and that seemed to help alleviate the smell a bit. The next morning, our shuttle driver was very prompt & friendly driving us the short ride to the airport. Coming home, there was no clear signage from the airport as to where to wait for the shuttle back to the hotel. We asked an airport employee who pointed it out. It was a very cold day with high wind gusts. After standing outside for about 30 minutes, we called the hotel to find out when the next shuttle would. At that point we were informed we have to CALL them for a pick-up. Lesson learned. We were never told this at check-in. I would not stay here again. I booked here due to the proximity to the airport, and the Marriott name. Both were disappointing. Should I ever need to fly out of Providence again I will look at other airport hotels.

I debated writing this because; 1) I don't like writing negative reviews; and 2) the staff members here are very nice. BUT...this place was so bad that I feel like I have to share. The outside and the lobby are actually fine -- clean and well lit. My room was another story. It was horrendous. It was filthy and dented and peeling and dim and haphazardly furnished. The sheets had what looked like a blood stain on them. Also, do NOT attempt to walk from the airport! The hotel is NOT attached to the airport. I gave up trying to walk in 16-degree weather in the dark and called for the shuttle -- shuttle driver was surprised that the website claimed a pleasant walk from the airport. I spent one miserable night here and cancelled the next three nights. I have never done that before in 40 years of traveling but I honestly could not stay in that room. Photos attached. You be the judge. In fairness, it could have just been that particular room. No way for me to know for sure.

I have been wanting to write this review for a while, and am sorry it is not timely but it is sincere. I travel 4/week for my job, and my husband and I decided to stay here at the last minute on a quick get away. Our stay here was exceptional. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was very good. The seasonal decorations were very pretty and eloquent. We were quite pleased and comfortable. However, we will be back not only because the area is fantastic to explore, but the GM and hotel staff are phenomenal. Again, staying in hotels for literally half the year for work, the ambiance of your stay is important. The room can be perfect, but if the personal touches are not there to make you feel like they actually want you there, the stay can be unremarkable. Genuine hospitality makes the difference.
