Premier Inn Warrington (A49/M62,J9)

We like premier inn’s for short breaks, you know exactly what you are getting. Sadly this hotel was being renovated so no restaurant or bar, we were only told this after booking and had no option given to transfer to another hotel. We booked this hotel rather than one nearer to where we needed to be as it said it had ev chargers, it wasn’t till we arrived that we found out they weren’t working, so all in all not the best experience this time.

I stayed for one night and the service I had was excellent from start to finish. I was able to communicate with reception team (Megan) with ease prior to my trip. Upon my arrival she made me feel safe and welcome. There was complimentary breakfast whilst the kitchen is out of action and there was a great variety. The staff also left some snacks in my room which was a nice touch.

Have recently stayed again at this hotel and all the staff were really friendly, the room was clean and comfy, yes there is building works going on whilst they redo the restaurant but the staff were helpful with providing details on local restaurants, takeaways etc. Having booked knowing the works were taking place the complimentary breakfast was an added bonus. Keep up the good work looking forward to visiting when the new restaurant is open.

Friendly and helpful staff but cannot understand why a basic, no-frills hotel in that type of location would cost so much: I recently paid less for a higher star, spa hotel in a central location! Was shocked by the complimentary 'breakfast': it was non-existent, just a coffee machine, some unripe fruit, a few small boxes of cereal and a bottle of milk. Really overpriced, incredibly poor value for money.

I was really disappointed by the baby cot that was provide. How anyone would let there baby sleep in there is beyond me and I don’t think a baby could. It was a thin piece of cardboard if that and a small, ruff through over it. When asked about I was advised that’s all they offer!

I have been attending this hotel for the past two years, visiting every 8 weeks due to business and college commitments through work. Every single morning Pam greets me with joy and kindness. She always makes me feel welcome. She’s a warm character, very down to earth, and a brilliant people person. I’m always made comfortable in the restaurant and served in great time. Connor the chef has consistently delivered hot, timely meals whenever I’ve ordered. On some occasions I’ve made slightly out-of-the-ordinary requests, but Connor always works around it and provides exactly what I’ve asked for. The pair of them have made my mornings brighter while I’m staying away from home for long periods of time. Brilliant people.

I had a lovely stay here. Staff were all friendly. Escoally Pam who there to serve breakfast, very welcoming and very attentive. The selection for breakfast was a good spread of hot and continental. The room itself was clean and not dated. I think the only thing I would say is more avaliable TV channels but apart from that it was a lovely room.

I wanted to take a moment to compliment the fantastic staff at Premier Inn following our stay on the evening of 7th March. My wife, son and I had such a great experience from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, the front-of-house team made us feel very welcome. Later that evening we had dinner in the restaurant. I’m quite a fussy eater, but the food was excellent. We ordered the mixed grill with an 8oz steak and the chicken tikka skewers, while our wee one had a margarita pizza. Everything was really, really nice — honestly, I’ve had similar dishes in some top eateries and this was just as good. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely beautiful. I genuinely can’t remember the last time I had such a tasty breakfast. I even spoke to the chef to compliment him, and he was very humble about it. The staff here are a real testament to this Premier Inn. Thank you all so much for making our stay such a pleasant one.

This accommodation is in desperate need of modernisation. The decor is worn, the carpets are grubby, there is a musty smell throughout. The Breakfast was below average, poor quality ingredients, over cooked eggs and watery mushrooms. The evening meal again was below average. It took forever to take my order and then even longer to deliver the food despite not being busy. The restaurant area looks like a pub but feels like something put together on a shoestring. Bits closed off, sticky tables and poor outdated decor. I won't be back to this accommodation. The Premier Inn model is fairly good across the organisation, this is very much below the normal service.
