I needed a room for a one-night stay to attend a local event. Service was professional, very clean and comfortable room and a good breakfast to start the next morning. Will definitely use the hotel again when I attend similar events in future.

What a brilliant place to stay. Super friendly staff, big shout out to Dawn, Georgia & Ben who all made me feel so welcome. The food is fantastic, the beer selection great. I stayed in room 1 which is huge for London and one of the cleanest I’ve ever stayed in. I’ve already booked for a few extra nights because it’s that good.

Spotlessly clean, stylish room. Very comfortable bed with firm mattress. The music in the pub could be heard in the bedroom until midnight but we were out at a wedding until late so we weren't going to bed early. Cooked breakfast was one of the best I've had. All staff very helpful and friendly. We wouldn't hesitate book again if we were in the area.

Great pub, and the people were lovely. BUT… Unfortunately as a hotel it wasn’t good, the rooms are above the pub which on a weekend plays music until midnight. When the music finally stopped we were then faced with a green light in the room you can’t turn off… think mood lighting like something out of the movie matrix. We didn’t stay for our second night, and we contacted the hotel but haven’t received a reply, but when we mentioned our reasons to checking out early to the reception team they weren’t surprised.

Comfortable and spacious room. Nicely decorated. Stayed during heatwave so was a little warm! There was a fan in the room however which I kept on all night. Been here a few times now and always had a good experience. Food in pub is good and reasonably priced. Staff are always freindly and helpful. Breakfast during week is continental but decent choice.

This was our second stay at the Royal Oak and it certainly didn’t disappoint.
We stayed on one of the hottest weekends of the year however we had a large free standing fan to help cool us down. The only downside was we had a room over the front door and we could hear people in the front garden well past midnight. We didn’t let this spoil our stay and would gladly book again.
The hotel staff are lovely and breakfast was included, a delicious full English cooked to order.
