"Overall not good value for money /experience for the family in this hotel. - Staff was not very helpful and didn't care about the guests' needs. We just arrived after a long & weary drive to the hotel when we were asked to reply immediately upon check-in when we would like the room to be cleaned the next day. I replied the staff 11:00 (because our baby needed more sleep), but he hinted our reply should be no later than 10:00 even though we were still gonna stay for one more night. The hotel ended up just left a plastic bag of amenities in front of our room door and didn't make up the room. - Even though I remarked 2 adults + 1 baby in my booking, I was presented a confirmation during check-in for one room for 3 adults. - There was nil shower facility in the guest room, so I had to bring my baby to the hotel's hotspring area just to take a bath, both of us naked in the cold weather."

"I saw their hotel was cheap and decided to give it a try. It was a lucky find! Although it's a bit older, it's very well maintained, with a traditional hot spring hotel feel. It's located near Kisui-ji Temple, so it's very convenient to visit if you're passing by. The hot spring itself is quite nice; there's an open-air bath, and both the warm and cold pools are good. The only downside is the limited opening hours, from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM. It would be even better if it were open in the morning too."

"The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. This is a very traditional Japanese ryokan-style hotel. While it has been refurbished, it beautifully retains its classic charm, almost making you feel like you've stepped back into the 80s. The swimming pool, however, seemed to be abandoned. It's a wonderful place to watch the sunset and experience the peaceful Japanese way of life."
