The Inn and Spa at East Wind

I booked an overnight package for Valentine's Day weekend. The package included an overnight stay, dinner at their restaurant, champagne & chocolate covered strawberries and a hot stone massage for each of us, tax and gratuities included. When I called to book it, the woman I spoke to told me that we would have use of their gym and pool while we were there. I then confirmed that we could use the gym before our spa services when I spoke to someone at the spa. We got there around 6:30 pm Friday night. Check in was easy. We went to dinner and saw that they had a price fixed menu for the holiday weekend, which was fine, but when we got seated we were given a sheet of paper with an extremely limited menu that was included with our package. It only had two choices for an appetizer, three for dinner and dessert was either a brownie or ice cream,(I am gluten free and dairy free so this was an issue). We decided to just make due with it and the chef made sure to prepare my dinner GF for me. I ordered a drink for $12 and the ENTIRE glass was filled with ice. I had 4 sips and the drink was gone. We asked the waiter if he could get me a refill because there wasn't much in the glass but the bartender refused unless we purchased another one, which we didn't. The next morning I verified again that we can use the gym before our spa appointments so my husband went down to the gym. Turns out the gym costs $20 a day to use. It is a private gym that rents inside the hotel. As he was walking back to the room he found a tiny workout room next to the pool that had 3 cardio machines and thats it. That is the hotel gym that we could use. To top the whole trip off, we booked hot stone massages and my husbands room had an electrical issue so there were no hot stones, the therapist couldn't heat them up. We were very upset that we were not told the true specifics of our package. I would not have booked it had I known these things.
