We arrived on Sunday afternoon 7/8/2022 about 15 hours and were waited by a young lady. We were called by a hotel gentleman the day before, saying that we were best coming to the hotel on Sunday and not first to the information office in the town of Blokzijl , as we were planning, The young lady at the bar was not aware of this, and was not aware of documentation and information, etc. Finally we had chosen a ”Deluxe double room” ... When I saw it I immediately asked for another room, I showed the photo that stood on booking.com and said that this was not correct with the room we had booked. She said it couldn't because it was full. (there was no one ...) Therefore we had to stay in this unbullable room with a dirty window curtain that we couldn't make up (was broken), grey thick coverbed (in the summer), grey lakens, keihard mattresses. A very old (not proper) box without loads to keep our clothes in. Very little place, no seats but 2 unbullful seats. Room was a disaster, no smoke fresh. We stayed there for 4 nights and almost no eye closed. At around 16:30 I went to the reception to ask toilet paper, I called there 20 times, telephoned, etc. there was no cat, we were all alone in that hotel. The next morning I spoke to the ”here” about this and he said that we had no phone and we had a luxurious double room etc .... I had understand ... Breakfast was enough but every day the same. On a long table that must continue for buffet ... there was hardly something on, mini nutella pots, a little confection, fruit and yogurt whose date had expired with more than 1 week. I made them aware and asked for a fresh yogurt ... I got a I don't know if it was fresh, I left it.
