Limak Cyprus Deluxe Hotel

Queensbay is a family run hotel and the staff go out of their way to make their guests feel welcome and at home. Ivan, the beverage manager is a gem and we appreciated his friendliness and sense of humour. We chose the inclusive deal and the food and drinks we were offered were top notch. The food catered for all tastes and was abundant and superb. There is some evening entertainment for guests, bingo, quizes, greek dancing, live music and Kareoke. The pool area is large and was enjoyed by all.The small beach on the property is beautiful and secluded. There is a nearby supermarket for necessaties. A most enjoyable time was spent at this superb hotel.

We had a 5-day family holiday during the holiday, I will write about my experiences in detail. Let me talk about the positive aspects first: - The children working in the service were very interested, sometimes it seemed that they did not have much knowledge or experience, but they are so friendly and trying to do something for you.. I have stayed in hotels that are much better and more expensive than this hotel. There are few places. - The beach is very nice. The sea is always clean. There is a sandy beach and there is a very long shallow sand like Belek, so although it is comfortable for adults like us, I have noticed that families with children are especially comfortable. - Rooms are nice. It's not luxury but very good for the price. Big, spacious. The bed was also quite large and comfortable. Its design is modern. Air conditioner works fine. - Every evening there was a wide variety of fish and it was delicious. The masters of the oven were great, what they made was delicious.. She was making a puff pastry every morning for breakfast, I have never eaten better. Oil-free, crunchy. Lamb meat was also delicious. Now I will unfortunately share my bad experiences: - Let's start with the rooms, are most of the guests coming to the hotel in Cyprus English? Why is there only 1 Turkish socket in the whole room, but British style sockets everywhere? You cannot charge phones for 2 people at the same time and there is only one Turkish type socket under the TV, there is no suitable socket at the bedside! - Let's continue with the cleaning. First of all, the sink in the room was clogged, the bathroom was not cleaned well. In the restaurant, the plates could come out dirty, I always found my plate in a few tries. - Internet is free, but DISASTER! I didn't try it from a single device, we were 4 people, we all tried it separately. There is no internet connection either in the room, by the pool, in the cafeteria or on the beach. But constantly. We are tired of turning off the phones now, it's not something to deal with. Don't say that a lot of people are using it, we went to the beach at 6 in the morning, it's the same, we went to the restaurant at 6.30, it's the same. It's always a problem when no one is using it! It's 2022, we raised our arms up like an old-style TV antenna and searched for wireless internet, it's not going to happen. The internet was only working very well in the lobby, probably for this reason, those who had a job, including me, were always working there rather than working in the room. Most of the time, we connected to the wireless internet of the Limak hotel next door on the beach. - The hotel is all inclusive. All alcohols are there. If you want, buy 1 whiskey bottle every hour and finish it. Eat as many meals as you want. Cans of coke, beers, gin, wine. Consume whatever comes to your mind as much as you want. Nobody wants money. But we only drank 1 glass of freshly squeezed orange juice during the 5-day holiday, they asked for an extra 40 TL. Nonsense! I wish you had said that you don't have fresh orange juice, but you wouldn't have done this shame. - Let me explain the dishes. The beef was very bad. It was either too hard or too flavorless. The food was very oily in all of the deep-fries. I guess frozen foods are thrown away when the oil is cold. I noticed plates of food taken and left on the tables, a lot of food is thrown away, this makes me very sad. There are many kinds of food, it's true. I wish there was less variety, but a little more care was taken.. We couldn't drink 1 good Turkish coffee in 5 days.. There is no machine, they make it by hand.. I think the employees were told to pour less coffee, I tried it in different bars, always the same frustration.. Turkish coffee is a disaster.. Ki Cyprus' It has very good coffees of its own. - There were many people in the cafeteria who took food with their hands, there were also dishes that we did not want to eat when we saw them.. Actually, the solution is very easy.. Give much less food, there are already plenty of cooks, you can give these friends to serve food and distribute the dishes in a clean way. This is a service already implemented in all inclusive hotels at this price level, it's not new..
